Great item, good value for money in a large 250g pot. The D Mannose will be a bit clumped but easily dispersed when poked with the plastic scoop inside and once water hits it, it dissolves pretty quickly. The taste is typical D Mannose and it's effective for the purpose you need it for. A bit pricey but as the product is good it's worth it in comparison to it's counterparts.

Easy to use. At the recommended dose it hardly alters the taste of tea or coffee. It can also easily be sprinkled over cereal or similar. Its use has made a significant reduction in the frequency of occurrance and severity of symptoms of cystitis and UTIs. After several weeks of use it has virtually eliminated what was a significant and painful problem.

An excellent product and much more reasonably priced than most other brands of D- mannose.

As many know, D-Mannose is a life changer if you are apt to getting urinary tract infections or maybe even bladder inflammation, as I found. The price may seem expensive but it works out cheaper in the long run, and is perhaps the best quality of all I've tried.

Ich hatte seit Jahren Probleme mit regelmäßigen Blasenentzündungen, welche leider immer mit Antibiotika behandelt werden mussten. Ich nehme D-Mannose seit November 2016 regelmäßig ein - zuerst morgens und abends, jetzt nur noch abends vor dem Schlafengehen - und ich bin seitdem blasenentzündungsfrei. Ich nehme ca. einen 3/4 Teelöffel mit nur wenig Wasser, sodass sich die D-Mannose eben so löst. Danach trinke ich ein normales Glas Wasser. Auf diese Weise schmeckt nicht das ganze Glas Wasser süßlich, denn D-Mannose ist nunmal eine Zuckerart. Zum Produkt: • das Pulver klumpt teilweise ein kleines bisschen, was aber kein Problem ist, da es sich trotzdem (auch in kaltem Wasser) löst • die Mais-D-Mannose riecht etwas stechend, aber einen Wirkunterschied zu Birken-D-Mannose konnte ich nicht feststellen • der Preis pro Gramm dieses Produkts ist ungeschlagen (Stand Juli 2017) ____________________________ Weitere Tipps zur Vorbeugung von Blasenentzündungen: • Viel trinken, damit Urin und potentielle Bakterienansammlungen niemals zu "konzentriert" sind (Achtung, sobald Antibiotika im Spiel sind, sollte nur normal viel getrunken werden, da das Antibiotikum in der Blase wirken soll und bei zu viel "Flüssigkeitsdurchsatz" nicht genug Zeit vor Ort hat. Das gilt zumindest für die Antibiotika, die ich immer nehmen musste - bei Unsicherheit bitte den Arzt fragen.) • Vor dem Geschlechtsverkehr ein großes Glas Wasser trinken und nachher sofort Wasser lassen, um etwaige Bakterien auszuspülen. • 1x am Tag Intimregion + After mit klarem Wasser reinigen, da die meisten Blasenentzündungen durch Coli Bakterien aus dem menschlichen Darm entstehen, welcher leider bauartbedingt bei Frauen sehr nah an der Harnröhre endet. Zum Waschen reicht Wasser oder höchstens Intim-Waschlotion, welche auf den pH-Wert der Region abgestimmt ist und Milchsäure enthält (z.B. Jessa Intim-Waschlotion von DM) - denn je weniger die Schleimhäute irritiert werden, desto besser. • Statt Strings besser Hipster o.ä. tragen, da Strings sehr engen Kontakt zum After haben und hier durch leichte Bewegung der Wäsche Bakterien verschleppt werden können. • Unterwäsche mit 60°C und Vollwaschmittel waschen, das tötet alle Bakterien. Desinfektions-Waschmittel sind meiner Recherche zu folge nur Geldmacherei von Sagrotan und co. Ein Vollwaschmittel, welches immer etwas Bleichmittel enthält, ist wohl am zuverlässigsten.
