Read the Spec carefully - there's no PCI-e connection, and it might not do what you want
I got this hoping to add RGB functionality to an older mobo that's still good but wouldn't run the RGB fans in the new case it was going into. What I didn't notice was that it doesn't connect to the PCIe slots at all, despite being marketed as a PCI-e board. You also have to power it from an internal SATA connector, which if you're all about cable management, you may not have lying about. Add to that the fact that you can only change the colours by pushing a little switch on the rear (unless you connect it to an existing RGB header), it becomes a bit of a faff. Why would you get this board if you already had an RGB header on your mobo? I think there's one reason, but don't quote me on that. I think you may be able to address the headers individually, but as I don't have that option, I'm not sure if I'm lying or not.So - buy it if you want to have your fans and such all shining pointlessly in one of a small choice of colours or in some random pulsing manner, but expect to get a bit tired of pushing that inconveniently sited button if you do. I probably won't bother, as it's a pain to fight your way past the forest of wires at the back of your average PC.

It works
Fixing bolt it comes with is too large for screw holes in the mounting plate luckily I have spares for these, bit flimsy made 12v connector plug bends very easily so make sure pressure is held down from above when connecting, other than that it works as a simple light controller, it's not pci connector but I new that when I bought it so maybe advertise this different to be more clear for the consumer. For these points I have given a 3 star rating

Budget & Basic
First off, the first card i received was broken and had a busted green channel. I was given an identical one the very next day which worked.the number of colour functions are very limited, and the board itself is very cheaply made. The replacement I recieved came in a partially damaged and open box. I feel this product could've been way better than what it actually is.there aren't really any cards like this on the market however, and having a physical button is nice.

4 pin Excellent Controller worked straight out of the box 5***** VFM
Excellent Controller worked straight out of the box 5***** VFM This is great if you have not got a RGB point on your M/B Can control up to 4 fans manually with a button on the back or you can use a strip light to connect or a combo of both. Double check all connections and it will be fine if your not sure get someone who's qualified to check for you. Great to have some RGB lighting finally on previously fairly barren M/B Asus TUF Z270 (no RGB point :-( ) Looks good through a Aluminum mesh window Lian Li Black Case With Scythe Top down RGB Cooler.cons: connecting leads should be longer.

Does the job
Allows you to have RGB fans even if your Motherboard has no RGB connections

Excellent value for money
Works really well if you made the mistake I made in buying a Corsair Spec Delta ATX case and a motherboard with no RGB output for the LED fans!! Installed this, power via the sata connection on the PSU, connected the RGB plugs and away you go. Only provides basic control of the LEDs via a button on the back but works well. Alternatively if you do have an RGB header on your board I am sure the controls will be more comprehensive.
