After one trimming I was sure I had the best trimmer for my needs. It does an awesome job and I highly recommend it. The instructions are just pictures and you have to figure out what they are trying to tell you but it is pretty simple. Adjust the height, turn it on and start trimming. Easy peasy.

Coming from my last razor this is an upgrade. I pike the charging stand, but it really should be type c. Forced accessory purchasing is so 2015. However, it trims nicely and I like the blade level adjuster.

I bought this to replace a WAHL electric trimmer that didn't work well from the moment I bought it. This was about the same price, but this trimmer is much higher quality and does a great job.

Pros: This is not my first Braun Trimmer. I like them. I like the way the adjustable wheel works on these compared to other brands. They're waterproof so very easy to keep clean. The only issue is eventually, the battery starts to die. After 2.5-5 years, they'll stop ever having "full power" if that makes sense. But that's a good life for me.The only "Con" is petty, and I'm only bringing this up because i see it mentioned in some reviews. When putting the two trimmer heads on that are adjustable, they don't always automatically start at the number set. They kinda default all the way down to zero (the closest setting). All the braun trimmers have done this. This is what's happening when you read a review where someone complains i't's shaved their beard too far down. What you need to do, is place the head on with it set to zero, or after placing it on dial it down to zero and back up. Make sure it's adjusting, then set it wherever you want. If it's not moving, you're set to shave your beard off.

The media could not be loaded. It has not even been 5 months since I got this and it's already falling apart. I barely use it, but now the guard doesn't hold the trimmer at the desired length and will sink to the lowest setting. I've made many mistakes with my beard where chunks of my facial hair have been shaved off accidentally because of how poorly made this trimmer was. Defeats the purpose if I can't choose the desired length! In the middle of my beard trimming today, the knob flew off And the trimmer, yet again, sunk to the lowest setting. And I have a chunk of my beard shaved off. I'm so saddened by this product. My old trimmer isn't sharp anymore, but it never performed this badly and the reason why I replaced it is because I wanted something that was sharper. Sharper. I didn't realize that this was a downgrade, even though it's more expensive.
