I got the safe to keep my physical cash & receipts somewhere safe without others in the house meddling with them. I still live with my parents, and my mom has made a habit of "borrowing" money and never returning it, so this was perfect for me. I've had it for a little under a month and really like it so far - it's very easy to use and small enough to store somewhere out of view. I also initially ran into a few bumps but the customer service corrected things and are super friendly & diligent! That's always really reassuring to me when shopping online.The only thing I would forewarn others about is that if you are looking for a legitimate fireproof safe, you will need to take the time to save a good chunk of money. Genuine fireproof safes are THOUSANDS of dollars. Please be very careful with your irreplaceable valuable items and place them somewhere that you are 99% sure is safe from damage or loss.That said, this is a great little safe for day to day use and keeping unwanted hands off of your money, jewelry, etc. and I do recommend it for people like me just wanting to lock certain things in a space you'll remember and keep tight for the time being.4 stars for the product and the extra star for great customer service! :)

it's spacious inside the box. I feel that my items are safe,with two locks.

It will work as a gun safe. Very basic, lightweight, no padding. You have to add your own. I question the fire rating on this. Keep it well hidden.

Perfect safe for what I needed. Solid, but not too heavy for one adult unpack and set up. Combination was easy to set up and having the key back up is great. It fits nicely in the side tower of my headboard. I am using it for a medicine safe (kids in the house) so I didn't see a need to mount the safe down, but the lag bolts were included. This is a real solid safe with heavy duty locking bars and not a tin cash box.

First off, the measurements listed on the website are incorrect. Website says the item is 12" deep and 7.87" wide. That is incorrect. It is 12" wide and 7.87" deep. I picked this safe based on the dimensions as I had a narrow where I wanted to place it and it wouldn't fit in the spot.Second, the safe appears to be defective. It would not lock. I tried resetting the code and using the key to lock it, but in no case could I get my safe to stay locked, and there's not much point in a safe that won't lock. I did get it into a mode where it beeped at me continuously, and the only way to stop the beep was to remove the batteries. According to the "manual" (aka a 2 page sheet of badly translated instructions) I did enter the code correctly (I got the correct lights and beeps), but still couldn't get it to lock. Also, there is no customer service contact information provided in the "manual" or on the Amazon website, or even on a GHJGAGE website.Needless to say, it got returned.
