I really enjoyed this novella. After being friends for years Harris and Gracie finally got together. I'm getting ready to read Drew's story.

Yes, this was a true Christmas novella. Gracie and Harris best friends who finally got it together and let their love shine thru. The chemistry was fire lol

A nice quick read about friendship and true love surrounded by the back drop of the holiday spirit. Good read!

The Christmas Secret is a delightful holiday romance by Peyton Banks. In it, readers meet Gracie Logan and Harris Bates. Gracie and Harris were high school friends. She was a cheer leader, and he was the football star. He joins the Marines. She remains friends with him and his family. They were attracted to each other, but, it seemed romance might fall into the realm of forbidden. Then he returns. Does the magic of Christmas work its charm? You must read this book to find out. Ms. Banks does with this second-chance romance. This is my first-time reading Ms. Banks’ works. I enjoyed her writing style and her multi-dimensional characters—both the leading and supportive. Gracie and Harris, as well as his mom and dad, are likeable. Ms. Bank’s dialog is outstanding. Her descriptive scenes drew me into the story making it seem as if I was a first-hand witness. This was a delightful read and a perfect way enjoy an evening in front of a fire.

Harris & Gracie have known each other almost all their lives. He has been her knight in shining armor since school. However they each have a secret. They each care for each other but have never dated. Join them this Christmas as they both get what they wish for. Enjoy. 🥰⛄🎄🎅🏻💞

Gracie has always been a part of Harris' life. She was the little girl he defended from bullies in school. She was his best friend in High School. She was his biggest supporter when he joined the service and became a firefighter. Now on this trip home for the holidays she's the woman he realizes has always been his. One look into her warm brown eyes and he's home. She's everything he's sought out but never could find. But he is no longer willing to deny himself or her. After all Gracie and loved Harris for forever, but she realized she had been friendzoned years ago. Now she just pines for him from a distance and continues to take what she can get. Besides being the girl next door has given her access to his family and she absolutely loves them. Only she dreads him coming home with a new girlfriend. This Christmas though things will be different because neither seem willing to hide their feelings any longer. Now they just have to keep it on the hush until Christmas.

Harris and Gracie were longtime friends. They grew up next door to each other. Their friendship moved into love during the Christmas holiday season. He proposed and she accepted! Their happily ever after began.
