Superhero Sam-Bam-Ka-Blam-Jam-Jimmy-Johnny-Jammy-Man (another book with no pictures): Volume 2

Not as simple as the original Book With No Pictures but children familiar with the format thoroughly enjoyed it as a read aloud.

We thought this was a sequel to the book with no pictures by BJ Novak. We were very disappointed the first time we read the book to find that it is not. It seems like it is more so a rip off of that idea but executed very very poorly. The gimmick of the book is that it repeats the title and several other very long phrases multiple times. There is very little creativity in this book and I am very disappointed that I wasted my money. If I did not have to pay more for shipping than I did for the book I would return it immediately. Shame on the author for misrepresenting what this book really is.

My 4 yr. old loved the 1st book, "The book without pictures" This one scared him? Neither of us enjoyed it.
