This is my favorite pre-popped popcorn that you can buy in a bag. It's got the butter and the salt, and it does taste a lot like what you get in a movie theater. It's perfect for eating while at home watching movies or TV shows. It feels like a bit of the movie theater experience without having to leave home. And yes, although taste is obviously a very personal opinion, I think this popcorn tastes really, really good. It isn't perfect, in the sense that I usually slather on more butter at the actual movie theater. (Or I ask for extra extra butter in theaters where they do that for you.) But it's actually better FOR you with a bit less butter, and, like I said, the taste quality is still quite high. I don't add any additional butter, personally, but you could do that. But, if you like a bit less butter than I do, it will be exactly right for you.

I’m so glad to be able to get this on Amazon, it’s been harder to find in stores through recent years. I just reordered and added to subscribe & save. So far, it’s been fresh, but I know foods online can be hit or miss, so if you get a batch that isn’t, give them another shot. I haven’t tried the newer flavors, but the Kettle and White Cheddar are a win as well. The value is pretty good for ordering online. I just wish they had a variety pack available so you could try the others and just mix it up a bit, it’s rare I want more than a bag of kettle or cheddar. I’ve craved this Movie Theater Butter style over making homemade, it’s just that perfect and doesn’t have any weird taste or texture to it. It’s also not overly salty like most packaged movie theater style popcorns. I don’t know that it’s safe to in the bag, I don’t recall seeing it on this last batch, but they used to recommend microwaving it briefly to warm it up, it’s great either way. Perfect road trip food too! Please offer a variety pack and consider bringing back the other cheese option (American? I don’t recall the name, but it had a nostalgic taste of mac & cheese). I used to live near an independent little health food store that would get all flavors they came out with and I do recall having a cinnamon or a a drizzle option, they were shockingly good, but I can’t say for certain if they’re the same options available now. Regarding the size and value, it’s more than it sounds like. My first order, I was reluctant because it didn’t sound like much by ounce, but it’s popcorn so super light. I guess I would describe the bags closer to that of a standard chip bag (not family size), larger than a snack bag for sure. Hoping Amazon keeps rotating stock to keep the consistent texture and freshness that really makes this brand stand out.

I really love the butter popcorn. For me it is a bit salty but I could not stop eating it. Very fresh. It is actual the best bagged popcorn I have had lately.

Yummy, but expensive.

Just received my order of 6 bags and the “best by” date is in 3 weeks! So I guess I got old popcorn. I also ordered Boom Chicka Pop and the “best by” date is middle of March
