I initially had a vac n seal problem as a number of other reviews have stated, but I contacted the seller who advised me to hold the vac n seal button down rather than just pressing. I was sceptical that this would work and pointed out that it did not state this in the instructions or any videos I had watched. However, I did this and miraculously the problem was solved and each time I now vac n seal it works. I have found this to be a great sealer and now a great vac n seal. I have also suggested to the seller that an amendment of the instructions should be included with the machine advising purchasers to hold this button down if they are experiencing problems. I must thank the seller for helping and point out that they also offered for me to return the machine if I was not happy. So please, before leaving negative reviews reach out to the seller.

this is a replacement item, i can't believe its the same machine what a difference from the first one, it does everything that it says it will. I tried it as soon as it was delivered just to be sure.i can only think that the first one was damaged. So thank you for the replacement

a little disappointed overall.The unit is ridiculously tight when compressing, but it doesn't extract all the air. On the TV, it looks like nothing can move in the freezer-bound packet. Yet that's not strictly true. Also, this uses a lot more plastic than I anticipated. Having to leave 2 inches to compress and seal when sealing 5 kg of chicken breast—that's like 20+ inches of wasted packaging. Not as 'eco-friendly' as you are led to believe.

I was very impressed great item it was a little harder to work than i thought, almost used 1 out of 4 rolls to finely get it better, so hope the next 3 i don’t mess it up ,i not the best my sister recommended it to me and she thinks it’s fantastic

We were very disappointed with this product. We had been looking forward to receiving it but once it arrived we were completely unable to use it.When you try to close the lid, the latch at the front is so unbelievably stiff that we struggled to be able to close it, even with two hands. When we did manage to close it, it made a loud cracking sound as if the whole unit could give way at any time. Because of this, sadly we are having to return it as it is unusable to us.Other people should also be aware how difficult it is to shut the lid into place before purchasing.

I saw this on the shopping channel and it looked so easy to use but when i first try to use it, it wasn’t as easy as they showed on the TV. Its just sitting in my cupboard haven’t used it since.

I use this very frequently. As a result, food waste in our house has dropped dramatically. I've used it to vacuum pack meat, fruit and sauces and used it to marinade various meats. I've even used it to make a bag to pipe mash on a cottage pie. Perfect for sous vide cooking too. Brilliant product which I think everyone who loves food a hates waste should buy.

i purchased this and found it did not work for very long. i exchanged it for another thinking it was probably a faulty unit but was given what i believe was a second hand one as one of the components the instruction book said was on the unit was missing. see pictures where the alighment bar is missing from the machine. in the end i had to have a refund. i have no complaints about how amazon dealt with these issues they were ace. not happy with High Street TV. managed it, so i was so glad i bought it via Amazon ........ love Amazon.
