So darn cute! Bought this and a couple of other "toys/games" with the Hungry Caterpillar book theme for 2 nieces for Christmas. If you've ever seen storytime at preschool or the library and they use a felt board, this is kind of like a miniature individual personal felt board. The stories that the kids could make up with this and create their own scene could be endless. I just love that it turns into this little portable toy you can easily carry from room to room or even on car trips. The recommended age is ages 3 and up and I agree. I definitely think that is accurate. I"m not sure i would give it to a younger child. just truly adorable! Will definitely unleash a child's creativity!

Bought this to make with my preschooler grandson. It was a fun activity and is fun to play with while reading the book. The stickers do not stay on the puppet socks very well. Thus the 4 stars. The finger puppets of food are fun to pretend that the caterpillar is eating. Great little activity.

This Felt board story was a project and its self. I had to put it all together. It came in tiny pieces. I had to construct all the little items. And also a couple more missing like the sausage. I’m not happy with this item. I’m going them together, but they’re still gonna be quite difficult to use in my preschool.

My preschooler needed to make a sock puppet for a project and this kit saved the day! It was very easy for as an adult and very interactive for the child. I did purchase fabric glue upon ordering the kit to ensure that the pieces would stay on the socks long term. I highly recommend doing the same for prolonged use since the cut outs only have a sticky adhesive. 10/10 recommend!

It was easy for my 5 year old to do on their own, however they had a very hard time accepting that not all the food “puppets” were available. They love to do puppet shows and feel the story is incomplete without all the fun foods to see. We ended up making the rest with paper.
