For a pen well under $100 I am impressed. In fact, it writes better out of the box than some pens in the $200+ range. First off, it is lovely. Color and design is unique and so attractive. The pen has a nice heft and girth, without being overbearing. Very comfortable in my medium to large hands. The pen came with a converter installed, but cartridges are available. For its maiden run, I filled up with ink of the same brand as the pen. The pen writes beautifully without adjustment, and is on the wet side making this fine point nib feel more like a medium. The nib is exceptionally smooth even upside down. Couldn't ask for more from a $30 pen. Let's see how it holds up over time.

Nib was broken on the first one, replacement kept clogging so returned it.

This is the greatest pen for a Canadian. Awesome colors, perfect weight in the hand, I just love it. When I ordered it, the only nib size available was the Medium. Unfortunately, for me, the Medium nib writes a little too big and wet for my liking. I contacted the vendor and he offered to sell me a replacement Fine nib assembly. I accepted and ordered it. So it's on its way now.The pen still writes well on thicker paper and with a very light touch.I did order another one with the fine blade nib. Love love that awesome pen.

The nib is silky smooth, wet, and writes with a nearly bold line. On top of all that, it's a stunning pen with nice rose gold colored details and chatoyance on the resin barrel. The writing sample is in green (De Atrementis Document Moss Green).
