Great family game
This game was recommended to me by the teacher at school as she plays it with children in her class, to promote social skills. I have 2 boys aged 9 and 10 who have some difficulties with social communication, therefore I felt this might be a fun way to improve there skills. It certainly is! Socially Speaking is great fun, the children were fully engaged - the 'I ate peas for tea' said in happy, angry, surprised voices had them really trying to imitate the emotion, but laughing about it and each other too. Their big sister who is 11 also played and enjoyed this game with her brothers, which is lovely as she often finds them frustrating! I really felt it brought the whole family together and is a game for all to enjoy at all levels - both 'neurotypicals ' and those with additional needs.

I do think the content is very good though if applied in the correct setting and way
I bougth this thinking I could use it at home, but really does need to be group work. So I have handed it to the school to work with ds, he dreads the book. I do think the content is very good though if applied in the correct setting and way.
