This a very complete set of resistors. It is advertised as 1% tolerance. But the set follows the full 24-values per decade pattern for 5% values. This is a great choice for general hobby use. I can’t really comment on the tolerance/accuracy but the few values I measured were what was expected.

My box of resistors did not have the ledger paper shown in the lid that lists the values, which you really need, but I was able to download the picture from Amazon and photoshop it, which I have included here for other customers. The bundles of resistor strips are tightly bound together with what looks like strips of saran wrap, which you have to cut to see the hand-scribbled values written on the paper strip for each chunk of resistors. Some resistor strips do not have values written on them, but they are in proper order and the attached picture should help. I found it best to re-bag each resistor bundle in zip-lock snack bags with the range of values written on the outside of the bag in sharpie. However, these will not fit back into the tiny plastic box, so now an extra box to use for something else, and the resistor baggies went into a gallon zip-lock bag. Resistors seem to be exactly as promised- quantities and value set are correct, resistors I have tested so far measure correctly. Overall, a GREAT kit for the price, if you don't mind the extra work of repackaging them.

As described. Tested and found to be well within specs (2-3% as opposed to 5% actually). Paint stripes are kind of cheap and sloppy (so don't take any high-res photos of your builds...), but there's a nice selection here, packaged up really nicely and the strips of resistor sizes are labeled appropriately. Would recommend for any hobbyist project.

Getting metal film 1/4-watt resistors with a 1% tolerance for 156 different values is outstanding for the price. Anyone who works with electronics breadboarding or isn't seeking surface-mounted components would find this a terrific deal.
