You would think all pins were made equal, but that isn't true. Some are poorly formed and don't crimp evenly. However, these pins are of good quality and crimp perfectly using the correct tool - easily released from the tool too.

When you are paying under £0.04 GBP per contact, you don't expect the best, but these are acceptable, crimp easily and pass a pull test (if you are using an appropriate crimper). The female contacts are formed from 0.2 mm tinned brass sheet and the male from 0.25mm sheet.
