Will this fit to a garden sink I want to put the hose to my flower bed so I don’t waste water

I wouldn’t think so without another connector, the hose is to extend the drain on a dishwasher or washing machine

This hose was a too long for me, is it possible to cut it shorter at the end that goes to the sink and still connect it to the waste trap connector?

I would have thought so. I don’t think the fitting on the sink end is essential.
