Good cable for fast connections
My internet service provides "fibre to home". A junction box connects the fibre to the modem using CAT 7 cable. The installer is a contractor company. I was expecting to have 900+ Mbit/s. It was much lower than that. For my disappointment, the company used a CAT 5e cable. I could contact the technical support and go through a slow cycle to have it replaced. I order one instead. The average speed exceeds 950 Mbit/s. The flat form factor made installation quick and simple. I am happy I did it.

Seems good quality, solid fit into prots but a little loose on the clips.
Good cable, solid fit into the ports. My only criticism is that the cable clips have a higher profile than the cable, so they don't apply any pressure onto the cable, so you can slide the cable back and forth with ease.

Excellent product
Great speeds. Eliminated all the buffering and lagging I was getting prior to installation of this cable. Very happy with purchase

Good cable but really ask yourself whether you need flat
The cable itself is fine and delivers my 200 mb connection from router to another room without any loss of speed. However, ask yourself whether you really need a flat cable. The cable is so thin that the cable clips supplied and most others hold it loosely. Turns/bends around door frames are hard to do. I wish I had opted for a normal cable from the start.

Easy and cheap way of getting Ethernet
I bought this to carry an Ethernet signal upstairs to my PC, and have had it for several months. The package comes with plenty of pins to string up the cable on your walls or ceiling, which hold well and have yet to dissapoint me - I have about a 5m section going up and across a wall, and they have had no issues.Internet ping is faster than when on wifi, albeit only by a few ms as my house has copper cables instead of optic fibre. Download speeds always reach the max my broadband contract allows, whereas before on wifi it was just slightly lower.Because the cable is flat, it can go under doors or under a carpet. You can step on it without feeling like you're damaging it.

Incredible if not slightly overkill for home use
This cable did amazingly and I still have it as a spare, the only reason I changed it is because I've changed around my work space and it's no longer long enough to reach my PC.The gold plated contacts mean that the noise is reduced which does help with data transfer. I had the cable running flush against the wall just under the carpet line so it wouldn't get battered by the hoover and as I've said it still works even now. The only thing I would say is that unless you have a high demand for data transfer like for large files to an on site server CAT7 is very much overkill for most households.
