This item is awesome. Does exactly as said and works well. Does not leak and seals well. However it does take some time and care when heating seal. I used a blow dryer to control heat source. I did not try hot water, but seem like it would work as well

Don't use the for a cruise. Dead giveaway is the gold pull tab and the colors will flake off.
