I ordered these to wear on a cruise vacation to the Caribbean where my fine hair never holds a set and always flies around if I don't pull it back. Unfortunately, these are too glitzy to wear during the daytime. The clasp is designed so that if I pull my hair back to wear one, they hold the hair down in an unflattering manner. They might work well for someone with thick hair who wants to hold the sides of her hair back or wants to pull back only a portion of hair in the back, but for someone with very fine, thin hair, they are not really appropriate.
