Brilliant. RIP velcro.
This stuff is brilliant. A little pricey, maybe, but worth every penny. This stuff sticks so well you could use it instead of no more nails in a lot of cases for attaching pictures etc to a wall or even a window etcBought to attach guitar pedals to a pedal board as I was sick of velcro losing its grip or getting covered in fluff and other detritus.Wont use velcro again. I'd rather pay for this and know it sticks. It works out a lot cheaper than replacing a guitar pedal that's fallen off because of velcro. Highly recommended.

Much stronger than Velcro but much more expensive!
Bought it to hold some seat backs to a wall. The adhesive is very strong as is the ‘dual lock’. The seat back was plywood and the wall a plastic coated aluminium. They stuck well to both surfaces when left for 24hrs. I’ve also seen it used for attaching dash panels to new coaches.Advantages over Velcro are it doesn’t get clogged with fluff and lose its grip. It’s also much stronger. It easily holds a slightly warped plywood seat back flush against a flat surfaceDisadvantages are is it’s very rigid unlike flexible Velcro. It’s also very expensive as it’s not double sided! 2m is needed to cover a 1m length. This is why I’ve given it 4 out of 5 stars overall

Really good but...
It's true, this stuff is really strong and will come in useful for mounting mirrors and other heavy items on the concrete walls of my flat. It loses a star because it wasn't obvious that the actual adhesive surface is half the length of the roll, i.e. I needed 2.5m of adhesive surface so bought 2 rolls of this on the assumption that is was being sold like velcro (you get both sides of the hook and loop); however, this adheres to itself so a 1.25m roll only gives you 62.5cm of adhesive surface—62.5cm to stick to your wall and 62.5cm to stick to your item. Only realising this when coming to do my DIY jobs, I've now got to buy another 2 rolls (and wait for delivery), so it's also worked out incredibly expensive (£60!) but hopefully will stand the test of time.

Great!
High-tack stickiness, so much so that it stuck to the backing card of the packaging which meant I had to pick off torn bits of card from the edge of the tape. I removed the old plate and washed and detailed the area. The paint work still felt grainy to the touch so I clay-barred the area rinsed and dried it. I used an an alcohol to clean the new plate and began installing strips of the Dual-Lock tape being careful to ensure both sides will line up perfectly. I snapped the new plate into place and it felt solid. I can't see it coming off until I sell the car.

Bought to fit number plate
Bought this to fit a number plate I can remove when doing track days etc. Found this works very well, easy to remove the plate when necessary.Only downside is that this method obviously leaves a small gap between the plate and the bodywork...but it’s only noticeable if very close.Did the number plates for a couple of cars with the real purchased.
