I pulled it out of the box and thought the worst. wasn't shaped the same and was dull. Another revewer said the paint on the edge comes off quickly to expose a sharp edge. put it on and found he was right. checked the grass clippings and the end was clean on the new side and torn on the side I sharpened. It works great
