This is the 3rd one I have bought over a 12 year period and I replace them as a precaution for efficiency not because I need to,they are a easy maintained filter the provides a great water cleanliness and balanced air flow rate and the sound of water rippling through the tank is very pleasant

Does the job great with all the little gimmicks you get with modern internals. Airation has a strong current with tons of oxygen put into the tank. The waterfall bar is great also and all comes apart for preference, need and cleaning.Pump is strong with a high flow, circling the current from 1 side back to itself and because of that little activated carbon canister beats out almost all over internal filters under the £20 price range easily imo. I added a cut of fine sponge into the activated carbon box and it leaves the water crystal clear.The thing is tiny also. My only 2 gripes are 1. Cable vibration can be loud and you need to jiggle the stuff behind your tank to stop it.2. the 2 bottom sections. One is for the impella cap and flow rate while the other is for the filtration media. The top one for the flow rate broke one side of the seals. This hasn't affected how clear it keeps the water but things do cling to that side as you can see in the picture. But maybe this was me because the thing is hard to pull apart. Except getting it apart it's easy as anything to clean and replace the activated carbon.100% worth the money for a medium size 80l tank. I've added another filter to this tank due to fry being spawned but that's me being safe for bio load otherwise this filter would of been fine as is.

This is great, my fish seem very happy . The only problem I had was taking the filter apart as it was very tight and the instructions weren't very clear as I was left with a bit that I haven't a clue where it goes, but overall worth every penny.

Purchased more than 5 years ago and it is still working perfectly, cleaned regularly and it’s been a great filter for my small aquarium. Nice and quiet as well. Would highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. sounds like a hovercraft going uphill for the 1200 litre model. it works well but if its for a indoor aquarium my mum who has dementia would need air plugs to enjoy the fish tank

My last filter had packed up and needed a replacement but they stopped doing the brand I had before.After reading reviews I decided to buy this one,I have a 75 litre tank and went for this filter.Really impressed with this so far,I have the venturi attachment currently and my fish love it.Strong little filter and a great price also,water still nice and clear and the foam really does collect all the food waste well.
