Long Projection Elongated D Shape One Button Quick Release Soft Close White Toilet Seat

This seat turned out to be a good size for our TC Orion toilet, costing considerably less than the original, which is difficult to find for the earlier model Orion toilet.Using the top fitting option was ideal, as I'd have had to have taken out the toilet to fit it in the usual way. This did have its own difficulties though. The quick release brackets need to be tightened down into place before putting the toilet seat on. Judging the positioning of these brackets can be tricky. Thankfully the quick release mechanism made removing the seat each time easier.For some reason, this seat appears a little twisted as it doesn't sit flat on the top of the toilet, and when standing up the lid clatters on the back of the toilet, as though the lid doesn't go back far enough.Having said that. It's probably the best fit I will get for the TC Orion.

Very comfortable and stylish, fits as if it was made for our toilet. On the negative, its perhaps a bit over priced, and the delivery is slow, even if you pay extra to have it delivered sooner, as I did.

Fitted my toilet perfectly having bought one that was initially too short. It was easy to fit and took no time at all. What's more, it stays firm on the toilet - no movement at all. Really easy to remove when cleaning and a lovely soft close.

This is a lovely seat and it's well built. It feels solid and it doesn't move when you are seated. It's quick and easily fitted with adjustable positioning brackets to fit various sizes of toilet. The thing I really like about this seat is that it is very comfortable because the aperture is ever so slightly smaller than the original seat which came with the toilet. This seems to give more support as I am slim and I do not have a large derrière. However, I expect it will be just as comfortable for a larger person too. This new seat fits much better, and looks neater, than the original which was very slightly wider. The colour is exactly the same white as the original seat and it matches the toilet well. The soft close mechanism works very quietly and smoothly and the quick release button allows for easy removal of the seat for thorough cleaning.I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's quality and at a good price.I've posted some photos showing the seat up, down and in mid soft-close movement, so you can see the shape and colour and decide if this seat is the right one for you too :-)

The seat has different dimensions to those advertised and therefore did not fit.AlsoReturn postage was promised but not refunded.

Bought this to replace a 25yr old mahogany faced seat that had begun to delaminate. Timber "elongated D" seats very expensive and hard to come by these days, so decided not to replace like with like. Shape matched my Villeroy & Boch pan exactly. Plastic is heavy duty and soft close works fine. Recommended.Update 11/12/14: Have been so pleased with the durability, looks and performance of the first seat I purchased for my B&B, I've just purchased a second. The slow close mechanism works particularly well and eliminates the nuisance of noise produced by guests who accidentally drop lids/seats when using WCs during the night.
