I originally bought two of the largest size, to use as carpeting in a 4m diameter bell tent. I found them ideal for this purpose, transforming the PVC groundsheet floor into a colourful, comfortable living area. This was the cheapest option I could find for tent flooring, with the additional advantages of being fairly light, and folding up into a compact bundle for transportation.Since my camping trip I have repurposed them in a spare room, covering linoleum tiles.The rugs are made from scraps of different types and colours of cloth, roughly but securely stitched together. The colour fastness of these different materials is likely to vary, so there's a risk of colours rubbing off against clothing or carpets, and putting the rugs through an intensive washing cycle is probably not a good idea. So far, I have only needed to spot-clean them in a few places. You don't really notice minor stains on them anyway, due to the irregular pattern.I've now bought one of the smaller sizes, for use in a hallway.

No horrible smell, which was a relief.I love the different colours.It is good quality, thick, warm and if I look after it, it should last a long time.

Great size rug for the price, colours are OK for where it's going but due to the fact that it's handmade and each one's different it might not be to everyone's taste if you need specific colours to match your colour scheme.Not too different than what I expected from a rag rug HOWEVER I really can't give any more than 3 stars due to the fact that we found 2 x 1" rusty nails embedded into it, presumably left over from when it was being made and missed during any quality checks. I would highly recommend you check the rug over thoroughly when you receive it just in case there are any left in yours. Having thoroughly checked ours and found no more we decided to keep it as I haven't been able to find another rug this size at such a reasonable price.

I love this rug it's something a bit different and adds a bit random colour to my otherwise black /white colour scheme isn't going to be the easiest this to wash but if one side gets a bit stained you are able to flip it over and as its random in it pattern it wil be like you have a new rug. Also for its size the price is amazing and I'll be happy for it to last a year and would gladly buy another one.P. S with it being hand made someone has put time and effort into creating it for you and each rug is unique and no 2 are the same, I like that.Edit...Still love it, in fact I have bought another one put the old one in the kids room and now I've got a bright new one with some slightly different colours very nice!

The colours are vibrant and warm, the stitching is sturdy. I absolutely love this rug - I bought the largest one and I’m stunned at the quality for the money, it goes perfectly in my cottagecore living room, and the cat approves :)
