Speedlink Max-3 Component HD Cable - Black (PS3)

I bought this to use on my Playstation 2 Slim which out of the box uses a standard sony composite cable which just gives you a garbage picture though a modern HDTV, plasma screen etc, I tested this speedlink cable yesterday and what a difference it makes =), (tip) if you have money to wipe your bottom with also purchase a Framemeister upscaler which will make everything perfect, but for me this is all I could ask for for an economic solution, but please don't expect a miracle as the PS2 never really sported an amazing video display to begin with.It does make a very big difference though, it works very well on Playstation 1 games too which I was really counting on, in my opinion this speedlink Max-3 Component HD cable gives you a beautiful almost Gamecube picture quality (for PS2 games anyway) it really brings out the best from this console and cleans up the picture nicely, some games do look better then others, but that is down to the developer and game itself sometimes. Anyways I will give an update on how it goes in regards to reliability which time will tell. Recommended.(Just remember to set the settings to the YPbPr setting in the playstation option menu)

They made a huge difference compared to composite on my lcd tv, turning it from a blurry mess into a clear image.The picture looked good with no audio hiss. Comparing it to my cfw ps3's emulation over hdmi they are very close.The cable itself appears to well made and with some thickness to it, although without cutting into it I don't know. The ps2 connector is a little tight compared to standard cables but it works.

Good product but only gets 4 stars due to the fact that the phono plugs are not gold plated. The picture is not an actual photo of the product just a CAD representation. No product like this can protect the signal from magnetic interference.

great cable works fine no problems if u are going top buy this for a capture card i would recomend buy a hdmi capture card and use a hdmi spliter to capture ps3 gameplay

Needed for a specific capture card to which I lost the original cable that comes along with the PS3 slim.Works quite well, but plasticy. Average length, can't complain and speedy delivery.

I got these cables for my PS2 hoping for better picture quality than the standard cables and I happy to say I was surprised how good it came out. I can't compare them to any of the cheaper component cables you can get for the PS2, but if you're looking to play PS2 on a HDTV I'd definitely recommend these cables.

Excellent, works great on a PS2, much clearer and better than composite, if you are using composite it's time to upgrade and get a component cable, no fuzziness, clear and sharp, Would recommend this item.

Packaging and product came in good condition but produced a very poor signal that was unusable.
