These are the best insert letters you will find. Ordered a different set from Amazon and they came with no directions and they looked very cheap. Sent them back for a refund. Ordered a set from Eye Catcher and the directions were very easy to understand and the installation was easy and organized. I did call Eye Catcher's customer service with a question and they got back to me immediately. You may pay more for the Eye Catcher Insert Letters but in my opinion they are well worth it. Also, they are engineered and made in the USA. They look great on my 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Buy them....you will not be disappointed.

These letter really make the Santa Cruz imprint stand out. I have a 2025 Santa Cruz, and the Satin Black fit perfectly. They have a durable feel, and stay put once pressed on. I did not put the whole row on at once, but cut the paper with the letter encased. I held them in the top corners before lining them up. I also had someone stand behind me to insure I had them in the grooves and correctly aligned before pressing them down, (because when they stick down, there's not much of a way to loosen them up without damaging them I suspect). I then peeled the adhesive tape off, and insured they were pressed in the groove. The picture shows the outcome of taking your time. I am impressed.

Excellent quality, great adhesive, and each letter fits perfectly. Looks amazing on my Hampton Gray Santa Cruz. The design really sets these letters apart, definitely worth the investment. Also nice that they are made in the USA.

I ordered the chrome/black in an attempt to match the darker chrome tailgate handle and bumper trim on the XRT trim. It matches pretty well (probably the best that I'm going to find). I'm not actually a big fan of chrome myself, but I think it looks good with the rest of the details on the truck. I got some compliments. If you are attempting to match the chrome this is a good option but I'd be curious to see someone with the gloss black.I like that this product is USA made, that is pretty important to me. If my Santa Cruz was any other color I likely would have gone with the flag style letters you see elsewhere, but I figured that the red stripes would blend too much with the paint color. It's a good price too considering the quality and visual effects of the letters when compared to the cheaper overseas made ones. They're also well under the price of the factory Hyundai ones. No complaints here.The template was... okay and my largest criticism. Like most reviewers mention, you don't really get much room for adjustment. They will stick immediately no matter how lightly they touch the tailgate, and trying to lift will just separate them from the template. I have plastic trim removal tools and had to use that to pry them off the tailgate when they had only just touched in order to adjust. The Cruz half the template was not spaced properly. I think this is due to the curvature of the tailgate as it was mostly apparent with the Z. As a suggestion, the instructions say to lift the entirety of the paper backing first, but I would probably try to maybe leave the bottom half on and see if that makes it somewhat easier when applying them, before peeling the rest (similar to how you apply a hood deflector). Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't.I am a former auto detailer, and my current profession requires a fair bit of attention to detail and spacing so I have developed a pretty good eye for leveling and such.Because of that (and a well placed yardstick), I was able to fix most of them, but there are two letters that are slightly off to my eye, but no one that I have asked could tell and they all say that they look good, so I'll take it.I like the texture. In terms of ease of removal, you would certainly need a heat gun (or prolonged direct sun light on it in the summer) and a trim removal tool. In other words, they aren't coming off unless you want them to, which is nice. I'm not worried at all about them coming off.See photos for before and after on Canyon Red. It has been a week or so, and I am very satisfied with the letters/trim match, and depending on the angle the slight color shift from chrome to black is pretty cool. The template is really my only complaint, but I was able to work around it.

Nice fit and finish. Very easy to line up and apply with the top clear carrier system they use. I cut up the letters and installed them individually. I had to warm up the tailgate and letters with a hair dryer, they adhesive took very well. These are much better quality than the ones Hyundai offers through their website. And the price is about the same. I'll be returning the other ones. I also have some flag and tailgate decals on my Tacoma from Eyecatcher, they are of the same high quality.
