Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden | Brick Of 8 Booster Packs | D&D Icons Of The Realms

I love D&D and I have a huge collection of miniatures. Sadly every time I buy a booster brick or a board game, a few figures are extremely bent, mispainted, or broken. This time 2 of the 32 figures were problematic.One of the "goliath barbarians" was bent, and a "night hag" has it's face painted on the top its head.I've issued a wizkids replacement request, and paid for the postage cost, to send back the figures on 8th December.Wiskids posted my replacement figures on 6th January, and it arrived today.They put the replacement figures in a paper envelope, so nothing protected the figures on the way.They look worse than the ones I've returned.I give 4 out of 5 stars because I love the rest of the figures, but you have to count with collateral damage every time you deal with Wizkids. :/

Let me start by saying, I understand there is some degree of chance involved in these boxes.That being said, the exciting ‘Icons of the realm’ I received? An archer with a face that could have been better painted blind drunk, a gnome mind flayer so small that any detail may as well have been skipped, a single kobold, and the large mini? A reindeer, not one of the white antlered reindeer from the art work, nothing distinct about it at all, just a reindeer with misshapen antlers.Honestly with the exception of the mind flayer there isn’t anything in this selection that stands out as iconic to icewind dale.Very disappointed.

I've had two bricks now and the first was ok had some good minis in it. I was quite pleased and decided to buy a second. What a mistake. The second brick was so poor I feel genuinely ripped off.It had one decent large mini, but it feels like because of that decent large one the packer filled the rest of the boxes with junk minis. Pretty much all tiny minis like kobolds, foxes, trout and rather useless small animals. Everything else was medium or animals that again wont have much use.I have sworn off ever buying any wizkids bricks again, their big stuff is usually great, but paying over £100 for mostly tiny squashed, bent and even broken minis I will never use like trout, foxes and reindeer leaves a sour taste. Oh I have 4 killer whales too, when will I ever use one of those let alone 4?!
