We already had one of these padlocks on our shed, and a keylock (different brand) on our gate.We have now purchased another Squire padlock, with 4-digit combination, to go on the gate as the keylock was going rusty!Can't recommend these enough, they are extremely durable in all weathers and just work a treat! :-)

Sadly, due to increased crime in our area down to crack heads moving in, we've had to take to locking our back gates at night. Instead of a padlock where we had to remember to take a key, I wanted one with a code and this one is perfect, it's not foolproof obviously, but it's just that little bit more peace of mind where the gates can't just be opened easily, would make someone in a hurry move on to the next one!Easy to set the code, easy to use, great value for your money, would recommend when you want that little bit more security.

Firstly I will say that this is an item I purchased myself and not part of the Amazon Vine program.Moved into a new house and I initially purchase one of these but then purchased another a couple of days later. The first being for a side gate, the second for one of those garden storage boxes. I will say from the outset that I am no expert when it comes to padlocks.These feel fairly sturdy and robust enough to do the job I want them two. I specifically went for the longer shackle as I find them easier to use. These has a 4 digit combination and an interesting way of setting the number. You must push the button on the bottom of the padlock to release the shackle. Then you have to take out a screw on the top of the padlock and pull up the end of the shackle that is still attached to the padlock – it doesn’t come all the way off. You set your combination and then follow the steps in reverse. Your new combination is set.The tumblers spin without too much effort and it’s easy enough to get them in the correct position for unlocking. Overall, I pleased with them. It’s way too early to say how well they are going to stand up to the elements but we’re into October now, so we’ll see.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Bought this for an outside wooden side door to our garden. The sliding bolt is located quite high and the previous combination padlock had only a short shaft. This made it fiddly to manoeuvre and the numbers difficult to see. This padlock, with a longer lock shaft, is much easier to manoeuvre and to see the combination numbers. These are clear and visible and it's easy to rotate the four combination numbers and align them to open.I found it a bit fiddly to set the security number on the padlock but you only have to do it once. A quality product that seems very durable.

The Heavy Duty Padlock initially seemed promising for providing robust security, we use it everyday. However, I encountered some issues with its casing, which tended to slide off, compromising its integrity. Additionally, in cold weather, the padlock tended to freeze, making it challenging to operate smoothly. Then has needed regular lubriation as it gets stiff. Improvements could be made still offers decent security but perhaps not for everyday use.

Pricey but very nice lock, good feeling combination wheels, loving needing to press the button for it to unlock rather than it just popping open.Feels well made, I'm using mine to secure a keter storage box which needed a longer clasp Vs normal sized padlock.

This is my first negative review on Amazon and I leave it so as to keep others safe. This lock jammed and would not open after 1 month of very light use. I purchased as I wanted a reliable and durable padlock for travelling. I should have stuck with the £2 ones from proper job. In all seriousness a lock that jams closed is no use and puts people in unhelpful and potentially dangerous situations. I would not recommend buying this lock and instead looking around for something more reliable. If I could return it I would, instead it becomes yet more waste.

Smooth and weather resistant had one for two years on a gate can vouch for that
