Great item works foxes and Badgers now gone, but not sure about longevity
Ok odd this things these, solar charger on top, red light in the middle and a red eye as seen in the pics. Do they work - well yes they do for most larger animals. Read on....We have been bothered by foxes (large ones at that) and badgers in our back garden. As nice as they look they can be an issue, I didnt want them shot but our local farmer does when they have his chickens in their mouths. So I thought I'd give them a go. Well in two days all badgers and foxes gone, Rabbits still there, I thought it a coincidence but I have had cameras out for 2 weeks and still no night shots or day ones for that matter of foxes or badgers.Surprised you could have knocked me down with the little device :-) youll see pics attached of the foxes hunting 3 weeks ago for rabbits, and we had several badger visits recently. I dont have any pics of no foxes or badgers after this point cause they disappeared, doesnt bother rabbits or pheasants which may or may not be good depending on your needs. But they work great. My only concern is their longevity, the transfer eye on one is starting to come off, whether this is important I don't know, but they've worked up until now, the pics of the rabbit is since their installation, they flash all night. Also if it helps, if the men in your family pee over the areas the foxes frequent it helps loads, don't bother with this lion scent stuff, get the boys after a drunken night out to relieve themselves where the foxes roam, this will keep the foxes away for a long while, coupled with these lights probably permanently.Hope the review and pics help to make your decision, I'll be having a word with the local farmer as they'll be great for him too.

Ok product
Solar powder and blinking light work well. Does it keep or deter foxes…. I’m not sure, the fox hasn’t been visiting nightly, upsetting the chickens and rabbits. But the fox does still come and has been up close to the blinking light. However definitely less of a problem since using these.

A CLEVER, SIMPLE AND VERY EFFECTIVE PAIR OF DEVICES
These are the perfect answer for anyone who loves all animals but wants to deter predators in a humane manner. The method in which they work is simple and highly effective; each device has a flashing light which is recharged during the day by means of the solar panel on top and work automatically when light levels drop at night. The flashing lights are perceived by predators to be the eyes of another animal watching them and will avoid the areas where the lights are visible which can be large because they are very bright. The devices are compact, measure 7 x 6 x 3cm and are easily hung on a nail or screw using the hole in the tag at the top. Suitably situated, the flashing red lights can resemble a security system around your premises or in a vehicle. We did have regular visits from cats, squirrels and even the occasional fox but since installing these we have not seen any nocturnal visitors. The devices are weather proof and do not need any maintenance; for optimal effect we have situate the solar panels in the sunniest part of the garden. We are delighted with this simple, effective solution to night time predators.

Aspectek Predator Eye - Attracts foxes and other animals good for wildlife observers who need to entice animals into view.
These are a joke, I only bought them because I thought they had a sonic noise deterrent, once I realised they are just a blinking light my donkey head was back on. Anyway the advert says 'animals are wary of the flashing lights, they don't know what they are so run away' well it's almost true, the sentence should be 'animals are wary of the flashing lights, they don't know what they are so come along and investigate, when they realise they are just harmless lights they laugh their little animal butts off.Anyway I have not had a fox problem for 3 months I bought them as I am going away and wanted something as a deterrent. Well for the first time in three months the fox was back, the very day I placed these in the garden, he was obviously enticed by the lights so came to investigate, and left his review of them in the garden on the grass.

These work great!
I have one of these still working 7 years later. In the elements they will eventually fail, but for the money, they are one fabulous product. Even a little sun will charge them for a full night of blinking. My chickens are fully secured!

Not a deterrent to wild deer
We were skeptical that this product would be effective, but desperate enough to try it, as wild deer are wreaking havoc in our garden. But it doesn't work. The deer are not at all bothered by the lights, and certainly not repelled.
