Schwalbe Marathon Bike Tire, Black, Clincher

I've been using these Marathon tyres for years, and typically upgrade any new bike to them within the first months of owning it. Every pair I've bought has been good quality, fitted the bike well, and lasted for years. They're a bit stiff and tricky to install the first time, but I figure that just means they're a good positive fit for the rims. I'm not an ultra-serious cyclist so I won't comment on weight or rolling resistance. All I know is that I get fewer punctures when I use them, which means more time riding and less time repairing the bike.

Excellent quality tyres. We are leisure cyclists and the anti puncture protection and build quality inspires a great deal of confidence and are perfect for us. However, the tyres are not easy to fit due to the wire inlay. The tyres won't stretch during installation. There are some very good YouTube videos available for reference. I strongly recommend using cable ties or a buckle strap to secure the tyre during installation so that it doesn't keep popping out of the wheel rim. Very happy with our purchase though.

These are really excellent tyres. Like most cyclists...i am fed up with punctures and cheap tyres so i spent a bit extra to get these and give them a try. They are solid and durable and pretty fast too. i noticed a definite improvement in speed after fitting these on. i have also been off road with these and although it was a very bumpy ride, they held up well and had no problems with the rough offroad riding through mud, puddles, stones and general debris and trye killing terrain. I've cycled over abandoned screws on the road with these and not had a puncture. yes, they're a bit heavy and they were really difficult and time consuming to install due to the nature of the robust inner lining and wiring but i have peace of mind about punctures now. No tyre is 100% puncture proof but these are better than anything else i've tried...including Continental gatorskins which are overrated and overpriced in my opinion. I really recommend these and also the wider thicker mountain bike version on schwalbe make too. a good investment for all regular cyclists.

Great tyres: I ordered the 700 x 35C, which fitted perfectly as a replacement for the slightly larger 700 x 40C tyres that were on my commuting hybrid bike previously. The tyres were from Amazon and arrived well packaged in individual full size boxes (so no issues of deformation due to the tyres being folded/squashed that some reviews mention - full marks to Amazon). Unlike some reviewers I didn't experience any problems fitting the tyres, and simply used Park Tools plastic tyre levers which did the job without any drama. Too early yet to comment on durability or puncture resistance, but given the usual Schwalbe quality I'm not expecting any issues. The tread pattern gives a low rolling resistance on the road due to a central raised bead, whilst on gravel the tread pattern on the rest of the tyre bites giving sufficient grip for light off roading (light gravel cycle tracks and the like). I didn't notice any appreciable increase in rolling resistance due to the puncture protection. The tyres have a reflective strip on the side-wall, which will aid visability at night. I would thoroughly recommend these tyres for commuting/touring and light off roading.

I’ve had Schwalbe tyres before and they’ve lasted well so I have high hopes this one will be the same. My only issue is that the bead was very tight over the rim, I had to use the tyre levers to put the tyre on (with difficulty) rather than simply pushing the bead over by hand

These tyres have transformed my folding bike. Following 8 years of slithering along slippery canal towpaths on the bike's original 1" smooth road tyres, along with poor advice that chunkier tyres wouldn't fit, I bought just one to try - and what a difference. With this 1.75" tyre on the front wheel and the original 1" on the rear, I immediately noticed how much grippier it was so ordered a second. Both were easy to fit taking just a few minutes per wheel for a complete amateur. Now the bike offers a smoother, grippier ride on all surfaces including wet grass, grit, gravel and light mud. The bike feels more stable, less wobbly and just I've even taken it over finely broken grass and a few small thorns without suffering any punctures - the 5/7 puncture resistance rating seems genuine. For anyone with a folding bike, I highly recommend these tyres. They'll add a little to the bike's weight for carrying but this is more than offset by the improved ride quality and confidence in knowing the tyres will handle a range of surfaces and offer good puncture resistance too. My only regret is that I waited all these years and didn't change them within weeks of buying the bike.

Easy to put onto my wheels albeit installed by a professional bike mechanic. Great tread and look- already tested in rough, bumpy, potholes conditions and so far so good. Marathon family of tyres are the best and in the long run will save you lots of money

16inスポーツサイクル（注文生産）に使用。 購入時に装着されていたタイヤがパンクしてしまい、ソリッドタイプのノーパンクタイヤ（チューブ）を試しましたが、走行感が全く変わってしまい（加速しない/惰性が続かないetc）使いものにならなくなってしまったので、パンク耐性タイヤで名の通っている本品を試しました。 本品は、加速感/惰性の伸びetcもオリジナルタイヤに遜色無く、コーナリング時の感覚が少し違う程度でした。 使い始めて数ヶ月で、耐久性のテストはこれからですが、実績の有るタイヤなので、安心感はあります。

通勤用のクロスバイクに装着しています。片道約2kmを6～7年ほど、ほぼ毎日乗りましたがノントラブルでした。通勤時のパンクは致命的ですので、それが無かったのはこのタイヤのおかげだと思っています。その安心感から今回リピート購入しました。 タイヤ自体は相当タフなのでまだまだ使えそうではありましたが、5年くらいで側面や反射塗料等に「くたびれ感」が出て、最近タイヤ自体も若干膨らんできた感じがしましたので交換しました。 パンクに強い反面やや重くて硬いので装着には少々苦労しますが、たった一度の苦労ですからそれは我慢。再び快適な走行感となり満足しています。

Rendement correct, increvable (mais très lourd). Je recommande pour transformer un VTT en vélotaf ou urbain. Aucune crevaison pour 1500km parcourus à ce jour, auparavant je crevais régulièrement (avec des vitoria randonneur).

Compré estas llantas para una bicicleta plegable Brompton a un precio bastante accesible. Los accesorios para este tipo de bicicletas son costosos y no llegan con facilidad a México. Encontrarlas en Amazon fue una buena noticia. Embonan perfectamente y se sienten muy estables al rodar. La recomiendo para todos aquellos con bici plegable, especialmente a los propietarios de una Brompton.
