I really like this brand of Authentic Jamaican Jerk marinade.. It is every bit as tasty and flavoursome as the other 2 leading brands i have used for years, namely Dunns & Walkerswood, maybe not quite as fiery as Dunn's, not too far off though, it's still hot & virtually the same flavour - but the Best Thing is, it's not as salty (at least to my palate) than the other 2, a big plus. Cheaper for 6 jars on Amazons subscribe & save, bought 2 lots in the last 8 months or so, now have 10 jars in my cupboard.. might have to skip a 6 monthly reorder! Good long Use By Dates 3+ years, June 26 & Dec 26 on 2nd order a month ago Take my word Tropical Sun Jerk seasoning is now my 1st choice go to brand, same flavour, less salty, cheaper = a winner for me and i'm fussy too! I love this on a whole chicken, even without marinating for hours its full of flavour, spice & heat. I like to cut slots in the chicken, then use about a 1 -1.1/2 heaped teaspoons to smother and squish into cuts, roast in foil, then 30 mins foil off to crisp -- Delightful and Delicious! Hey everyone, try this Tropical Sun Jerk with Mayonnaise - It is a real Match made in Heaven, like strawberries & cream. If you like Mayo that is, so sure you would agree with me and my tip. Only one mayo i like, Hellman's the best, i wonder if Amazon do any good subscribe & save deals on that! my bottom line - Go for it if the price is right!

Good depth of flavour, with Christmassy all-spice and lovely aromatics. The heat is adjustable with marinade time and amount used, so not too hot for my palate. Tasted as though it had more dried chilli in than it used to, didn't quite have the fruity flavours of the fresh ones.

I used to love this stuff but I think the recipe has changed recently. It is less spicy and far more salty! I had an old (2022 expiry jar) and salt was the 3rd highest ingredient, on the new jars it is second. Really disappointed, won't get these again. Used to be powerful enough that 2-3 teaspoons would do 2 chicken breasts or equivalent, now I need about half a jar... And it's so salty I'm going to give myself kidney failure if I keep doing that! Will be trying other brands to find a replacement

Like I can buy in bulk and great to add to all types of marinade for pre cooking spicy foods. Lovely

One of the bottles was open and leaking. Not sure why.
