We love the final look and functionality of this bench. We use it to store our chair pads and furniture covers when not in use, and can even fit in the bench pad when we know wet weather is coming. The instructions were easy to follow; we used a t-handled wrench to get into the tight corners instead of the allen wrench that came with it to save time, and knuckles. This could be assembled by one person, but two people is definitely easier. Everything lined up well and we don't have any gaps or loose wicker ends. Really adds to our deck!

Needs 2 people to assemble. One to hold piece. One to put screws in. Beautiful. Not waterproof. It is a plastic weave. It could have been woven tighter, still air/water can get in. Its common sense. I bought a cover for it to protect it and contents.

We have this on our outdoor (but covered) porch that is exposed to the sun and rain, but not a lot. It was easy to assemble, taking less than an hour. It is holding up well since May ‘23 (now July ‘23) so far. Hydraulic hinge works effortlessly. We use this to provide seating for those entering our home to remove their shoes. We are able to store guest indoor booties for inside the chest. We store the pad inside the chest as well, and only use it at times we have guests. While it has only been 2 months, we are hoping that durability, color retention, and hardware mechanism will remain good. If not, will update this review.

Good product overall but came in damaged (shipping fault) plus NO instruction manual to put this thing together in the package. It was a nightmare assembly. The glass at the top also cracked.Disappointed for now

If you get this on sale for under $100, it's not a bad deal. It's sturdy and large and doesn't look terrible. But let me point out some issues.First off, the hardware. Some items were the literal wrong size (the spacer size doesn't match with the picture, for example, and I had to provide extras that I had in my tool chest), the holes don't line up well (the bottom section has to literally bend to accommodate all 8 screws), and I was missing the end connector to one of the pistons. It still "works", but that's a lot of issues. Even the brand logo is installed upside down (the holes match so it's installed correctly).I tried contacting support to receive the missing connector and Amazon told me to talk to the manufacturer, then the manufacturer told me to return to Amazon, and Amazon was unable to provide the missing item (they did offer a refund but that's a headache for everyone). So I'll make do with what I have, built from spare parts and not complete.Update:So the lid (a thick plastic) gave out and cracked from back to front when I sat on it the other day. I'm not the smallest guy at 180, but definitely below the listed limit. So I would suggest sitting on the "thirds", as there's two metal bars in the middle. But not two people.Actually... maybe just get something else at this point.Second edit:One of the metal bars under the seat bent. I don't think this should be used as a seat, period.Definitely look elsewhere.
