Best in its class.
I saw this FPGA on their Kickstarter campaign which has just ended months ago, but it's good to see it has been listed on Amazon. As a beginner in digital programming and Verilog, I was looking for a simple and affordable FPGA board, and this one exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features is the free cloud-based tool that comes with it, which is intuitive and easy to use. NO installation of anything, NO drivers, NO incompatibility issues, it is simply plug and go!!!It also gets a nice DIP-40 design so you can plug it onto breadboard and interface with other components sit in your dusty component bin. So far I have managed to get the LED turned ON/OFF, but trying to get the digital tube working (still playing and studying). I saw the manufacturer alsohas released a tutorial book on Amazon kindle as well, but seem not available to purchase? Maybe they are fixing something. Anyway, if you are curious of FPGAs or digital circuits and would like to take a small step of investment, this is absolutely the one you never want to miss.ps: the header pins were not mounted so you need to solder by yourself.

Awesome! THE way to go if you're interested in learning FPGAs...
I am reviewing just to give these people the props they deserve. FPGAs are always a beast to learn becuase of complexities in software, toolchains, giant downloads, getting your selections between chips, software and boards right - etc. This allows you to use their Web-Based IDE to do all your development with NO SOFTWARE TO INSTALL. Once you build - you just download the image, then drag-and-drop to your board (which looks like a USB drive). Done.I got up and running with my first design in minutes. It's not the most powerful IDE in the world - not is Verilog easy - but this is by far the BEST way to get started!
