I add this to my foster cat's food and he doesn't mind it (however he'll eat just about anything). I can't say for sure if it's helped, but I have used it to support his digestive system after quite some issues when I first got him 6 months ago. He came to me with soft stool and a history of UTI. Discovered that he needed foods without certain ingredients. Added this to his diet (upon a recommendation) as well as pre&probiotics. I had stopped this one supplement for about a week and he came down with a cold. I put him back on it, thinking perhaps it's supporting his overall immune system. But who can really tell with supplements. He's doing well now.

This medication if taken every day, is a near life saver for me. It's been prescribed by more knowledgeable physicians since the 1990s. I stopped for a while, ended up with urinary track infections, and am back with few regrets to taking d-Mannose every day - so not onerous compared to the trips to doctor, lab for still-another-prescription-for antibiotics which are not good for me, or probably for anybody, long run.
