OK, Emmy is only on a few of the ...
OK, Emmy is only on a few of the tracks, so died in the wool Emmylou Harris fans may prefer to listen to her original recordings of these songs. That said, you can't really fault the track listing and for the most part, they're worth listening to. Stand out performances from Lee Ann Womack, Vince Gill & Patty Griffin, and Alison Krauss simply has to be heard to be believed! All in all a magical evening. I'm saying that having only played the CD so far. I've still got the DVD to go, and it's got even more tracks on it.

Top Country.
Good all round collection of Emmylou Harris songs over the years performed by various country stars. I found this cd very pleasant and one I shall return to time and time again.

A 'must have' DVD/CD set for any Emmylou / country music fan
I am so glad I bought this tribute to Emmylou, although most of the songs are by more than 20 guest singers paying their own tribute to Emmylou.It is now my favourite album, second only to Emmylou's 'Songbird' DVD/CD set.The sound and video quality is 'top class' and even though a blu ray version it is also available I have no regret at all in buying this version.

Worthy tribute to a great artist
Wonderful and well deserved tribute to Emmy's 40+ year career in music. Only slight blot on the landscape is Kris Kristoffersons awful rendition of Loving her was easier than anything I'll ever do again - couldn't they have edited that one out? Other than that country music of the highest quality. Unfair really to pick out one particular track for praise but Alison Krauss "Till I gain control again" is achingly beautiful.

My best CD ever!
My favourite CD, I just keep playing it over and over again. Shame that the best 2 tracks were on the DVD and not the CD, but I got round that.I have my tickets for the O2 on 11th March!

Brilliant Value for Money
Excellent CD but the DVD was even better! Not a lot of Emmylou herself but the stellar cast made up for it. One or two new musicians for me.Some distance shots on the DVD weren't as sharp as the close-ups but didn't detract from the performances.
