Xpelair Gx9 Commercial Window Fan

Instructions are confusing and very hard to follow. No videos to show how to install. Several ways you can mess up so I ended up breaking my window when tightening the screwed and destroyed the blades as there was a metal inlet that can easily get in the way of the blades. I regret having bought this item and will replace the window leaving it out. Can’t return as blades are damaged, so this is just a net loss for me.

Although not fitted yet we have the previous one over 32 years in service so bought this as a replacement as the shutters for the previous one are now not available. I'm sure it will give good service as xpelair are one of the best

Found it easy to install and far better than the pull cord one . Open and shuts automatically

Ho acquistato il prodotto in sostituzione di un vecchissimo 'Xpelair GX9. Il nuovo completamente rivisto nel layout è silenziosissimo. E' cambiato il meccanismo di apertura delle lamelle (non più a magnete e quindi a scatto. Occorrono 40 secondi perchè le lamelle si aprano lentamente all'avvio ed altrettanto in fase di spegnimento. All'inizio pensavo fosse difettato abituata al vecchio modello. Che occorrano 40 secondi per l'apertura non è scritto nel manuale. Purtroppo non sono fornite istruzioni in italiano. Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa che i fori necessari per il montaggio siano stati mantenuti nella stessa posizione di quello vecchio: non ho dovuto pucare ulteriormente il muro sia nella parte interna sia esterna
