Carry cot to foot muff
The carry cot is larger than expected. Bought it to fit on a Hauck runner 3 wheeler. (Awaiting delivery) Comes in a protective Hauck branded dust bag for storage. Super sturdy yet still lightweight. Has a solid board in the bottom. Great construction. Has Clips underneath to clip on to the anchor points of the pram. Plus a strap to fix it on and keep baby secure. Later on by removing the board and side parts, this turns into a warm cozy toes/foot muff to carry you through from birth to toddler. I happened to grab it at half price instead of full price. But it’s definitely worth paying the full cost.

Turn any stroller into a newborn pram!
This is an amazing piece of kit and a must have! Sturdy, but lightweight, warm and sizeable, it was perfect for easily converting an ordinary double buggy into a much needed pram for newborn. Also used as a sleeping crib whilst at grandma’s for a few hours. Love the fact that it can be converted to a foot mud when little one is older too! A great buy!

Pricey butbdoes the job
I think that this is a bit expensive for what this. However, it does feel good quality, we got it to use with a Hauk runner pushchair so that it could be used for a newborn when we are out walking the dog. Baby is very comfy in this and usually falls asleep in it quickly. Our other pushchair is crap at any kind of offroading so can't use it to walk the dog hence this was a necessary purchase We have only used it as a Carry cot so far not a foot muffin but we are happy with it for our needs

Perfect!
Genius! I don't know why I've ever had a pram now.. even fits quite narrow buggies. Super easy to install and makes a good quality and comfy impression! The value for money is good because there are no comparable alternatives.

The carry cot is perfect for my 2 week old son
The carry cot is perfect for my 2 week old son, he is very snug and warm in there so its perfect for this awful winter weather!! Great quality, lots of padding. It can be clipped into the pram for extra safety and comes out really easy if you need to take baby out of the stroller but don't want to disturb them sleeping. I am purchasing another one for my 1 year old but as cosy toes, so they match.

Costs more than Twice the price of the Buggy it's needed for
Converts the Sport Buggy into an Actual ' From 0 to 3yrs ' - what do I mean by this? - from the description of the buggy -- "Suitable from birth to 15kg (approx. 3 years)" , unfortunately if you placed newborn baby in the buggy in horizontal mode, there would be far too much un-padded area for baby to rattle about in. The bargain price of the buggy -- £22-99 from Aldi last Sept (And this IS a bargain -- well made, sturdy, functional, safe, good looks) is tempered somewhat by the unforeseen necessity of needing this soft carrycot - ie Buggy insert AT nearly 250% MORE than the buggy (£56.99 from Amazon) The carrycot itself is well made, strongly stitched handles and good zippers. It has a removable wooden base which adds to it's utility, it can be used as a foot muff for winter buggy use. Since I suspect that most people considering buying this product will have followed the same route here as myself, you will share my sensation of GRRRrrrrrr!! at having been gulled into buying on top of buying. As a whole, the buggy 'system' is fit for purpose and probably value for money. BUT I can only recommend 3*** 's -- "It's Ok" - for the Carrycot - Given that the original description of the sport buggy is misleading/inaccurate.

A little expensive but does the job well and dual purpose.
Bought for Hauck double pram, my son is just a few weeks old so needed carrycot. This works really well. It is big enough for him and will still be able to use in a couple of months. It is lightweight and the base is really sturdy. I do have problems clipping and unclipping from the pram as it’s a bit fiddly and you can’t see the clips once it is attached so you just have to feel. I would have preferred for it to be facing the other way but our pram has a flap on the hood so I can see his head when pushing if needed so it actually works really well for us. I like that it can be converted to a foot muff after you don’t need the carry cot as this will only be about 4 months. It’s very handy and does exactly what we need it to do.

Good for flying, light
The carrycot is light and quite long. It is not extremely robust, but sufficient. We plan to use this for when we fly with our baby. The surround around the head part zips away and the plywood slide out from the base so that it can be used as a foot muff, accordingly the base has slits for a buggy harness. I would work as a foot muff but changing between the 2 functions would be a pain. Really this is a light weight carry cot. Due to its lightness is is also not very warm. Verdict: good for flying, good for travelling and occasional sleeping. As a foot muff, yes, but only after your baby has outgrown the cot. I paid 40 EUR and found it ever so slightly overpriced. All said, this is one of the nicest carry cots out there - it looks like carry -on baggage.
