Great Submeter for Renters
Great way to meter power going to a rental space. It is simple counting of the KW's. Use a weathertight box for outdoor installation. Picture shows submeter mounted on outside of tiny home.

The meter is good, but doesn't have WiFi connection.
I think it's easy to add WiFi connection function and allow user to check the energy meter through the App, but it doesn't have this. For others are good.

Great for electric vehicle station
Love the quality and relative compactness of this watthour meter. Wanted to measure the energy usage of my new electric vehicle and what it costs me in added electric billing. When I recharge the vehicle, I log the beginning and ending watthous, along with the time. I can then figure out from my electric bill how much it cost me. I use the highest tier of course since I wouldn't have that consumption without the charging station.Did have to buy the recommended box, which was a bit pricey, but the item itself is not water proof. Works great.

A must have for sub-metering rentals
I've done my best to check accuracy on the meter and it seems very accurate (add up the sub-meter to the main meter; its only off by 10ths). Its very easy to install and connect; but the wire size does not match the amp rating on the meter (IE: the wire terminals barely hold the correct wire size for the amp rating) - they need to beef that up some.

Wish it came in an enclosure
This meter was fairly easy to install, but once I had it, I realized that it would not meet code with exposed wiring. Figuring out how to go about it, then buying the wiring and other materials needed took a couple of hours, and then I spent another 2-3 hours actually modifying the box to enclose the meter and allow me to attach flex conduit. I'm pleased with the final result, but I could have saved several hours of work if the right enclosure was provided...or even available as an add on purchase.
