Excellent little gadget
Bought this to play PS1 games on my PS2 again.Really easy to set up, just simple plug and play style kit.I even powered it by plugging the USB into the front of the PS2 so I didn't even need to mess around powering it externally from the setup. The upscaling option is brilliant and the aspect ratio alteration made playing on a bigger screen much better as it practically filled the screen. No issues with visuals or sound and I'm genuinely impressed with the results I got.Highly recommend.

You will need to power the adaptor, either using USB ports on your TV or a separate power plug.
The media could not be loaded. This works 100% on a 4k TV. Obviously the graphics are what they are from a 30 year old console but HOLY CRAP is it great to play these classics again. Works on both PS1 and PS2.

Good. But just a liitle annoying.
Ok, this works quite well, but it's got a foible or two.It does 480 an 720; and the 720 picture for use with a ps2 is good, colour a little wishy washey, but bright abd certainly Good Enough.But...Every time you turn power on, it defaults to 480 - you can't switch it permanently to 720, y9u have to press the button-switch every time, if you remember and if it's powered up... This may be something that's fine for you, but with the current state of my back I have to minimise the number of times I stand up and sit down, so frankly it literally is actually a pain in the back.On the good side: it's an hdmi socket so you can use whatever length cable you want, and it happily powers itself from one of the usb sockets on the ps2.

Great Adapter
The Mcbazel PS1/PS2 to HDMI Adapter is a fantastic little device! It works perfectly with my PSOne, and I love that it has a button to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. It's easy to use and really enhances the gaming experience on modern TVs. Highly recommend!

It works however
Wow it’s great to get the old PS1 out again and reminisce. It connects reasonably easy to modern tv. However due to possibly screen size, age, pixels etc, the picture is not as clear as it once seemed. But it does work. I don’t know if there are better options, but it’s still entertaining!

Goodbye lag on dance mat and PS1!
I purchased this little gadget for two reasons. First reason being that I wanted to connect an old Playstation 1 to a HDMI TV. The second reason, was that when I connected the Playstation to the TV using the component cables or component to SCART adapter, there was a noticeable LAG between pressing the buttons on the dance mat, and them actually being recognized on the screen. I searched the world wide web for an answer to this issue and couldn't find anything, apart from very expensive upscale / lag reducing devices. This however blew me away! The picture looks brilliant and fitted the 16:9 aspect ratio without any stretching or tearing visible. Also there was no longer any noticeable lag between pressing buttons and them being recognized on screen! Winner. And all this for a brilliant price. Can't recommend highly enough for anyone wanting to get back into their retro games console on their modern day TV!
