A soap pump was flushed down the toilet and I was in a panic! I got this and it was exactly what I needed. Shorter than I expected but it exceeded expectations. Way cheap than a plumber. I thought I wouldn’t need the gloves but the wire is a little flimsier than expected. Not cheap just flimsy

This product is awesome! The scratch marks in the picture in the toilet bowl are from my previous auger that didn’t work. This one, was delivered less than an hour ago, came out of the box with easy instructions, and in the first attempt, the clorox magic wand’s head that got accidentally flushed, trapped and partially clogged my toilet was removed. ADDENDUM: After every bend, the claw clenches on its own. Therefore after 2 bends, the claw is almost already clenched without even pulling the handle. So I assume it won’t be able to grab properly after 2 bends inside a pipe since claw won’t move. The manufacturer should make this improvement. I’m not taking any stars away because my problem was easily solved, and it was easier than I expected in that particular situation.

works ok -but leaves black markes in toilet lower drain area . next time will order one that rotates cable .

It does what it's supposed to, but the material used is too rough for porcelain. Works well and long enough to fit through the toilet and easy to use. The curvature and stiffness allows for versatility in removing clogging but it scratched up the toilet bowl.

My wife dropped her hair beretta in the toilet during the night. Flushed it too. Toilet clogged. Thought our grandson must have flushed a toy until my wife told me she lost her hair clip in the bathroom during the night by the toilet and couldn’t find it! Went to Home Depot and Lowes and bought the best flexible grabber. No success. Snake was useless. Did an Amazon search before resigning myself to pulling the toilet off to get the hair clip and saw this product and looked promising. It worked like a charm! Took 25 tries but then was able to get a hold of the clip. Very well designed and the extender helps prevent the flexible tubing from bending over on itself. All the other flex grabbers depends on spring action to grab which is weak. The grabbers on this one are grip operated to get a firm hold which was needed because the clip was jammed tight. What a work saver! Great tool to have. Genius idea.

I accidentally flushed a Clorox wand head and this worked to get it out. It took a few times trying to figure out how to work it, and I did definitely need the gloves it comes with bc you need to put your hands down close to the hole (and into the water) to be able to push the device in and up so it can travel through the curves to be able to get to the item. Yes there are a few scrape marks in the very bottom of the toilet now, but I’ll take that over a plumber’s bill. Maybe I can find something that can remove them…

This is ONLY good for getting out a kids race-car or big bulky grabbable item. (what a snake will have issues doing) Careful with the metal & claw, it will scrape up porcelain near hole if you are not gentle & careful. The extension part will break/stop working sooner than later, It is pretty cheap. For regular clogs (TP, baby wipes, doodoo, etc.) use a snake. DO NOT use one of the circular roll-up snakes with the spin handle, these are the worst & never work.
