Extremely Satisfied
UPDATE: Added video of the setting I have been using. I normally don't review the products I buy but I feel this actually deserves one. First impressions: Straight out of the box the keyboard LOOKS professional. It is a clean, minimalist design. There is material where there needs to be and really not much else. The switches are much more exposed than other keyboards I have seen with Cherry MX switches and it gives off the impression that the keys sit very high. It seems incredibly easy to clean because of that. Lighting is bright but slightly "uneven" on the number line. This is obviously because of the LED sitting in the top part of the switch. It is really only noticeable on the number line and this is very common among keyboard manufacturers so it really isn't a huge issue. The LEDs and animations include all of the mechanical keys AND the media keys, lock key, and brightness key. That is a nice touch. The small LEDs between the lock and mute buttons are white. The Cherry MX Reds are louder than my membrane keyboards but not obnoxiously so. They are definitely harder to get used to typing on full time. Between the key caps being slightly skinnier and the keyboard being slightly smaller it has me making a ton of typos compared to my usual. Build Quality: Overall the build quality is great. It is really solid feeling. There is a screw directly beside the esc key and I really don't like it there. Other than that I have no complaints. LED/Switch Quality: They feel and look exactly like standard Cherry MX Reds. The switches themselves work great, feel great, and I fully expect them to last a long time. The actual lighting is fantastic. There is no noticeable lag at all and the lighting animations seem to keep up with my typing even when I am in the 80wpm range. I am honestly impressed by that. It is actually impressive enough that everyone who saw me using it seems to want to buy one. Most women were instantly drawn to it so it definitely appeals to the female gamer crowd. Lighting is bright, clear, and has a nice under glow. Media Keys: They work... not much else to really say about them. I had them working perfectly fine in Windows 8.1. The scroll wheel is kind of stiff. You have to deliberately roll it. Tapping it lightly to increase volume just will not work. Software: It is a nightmare... It isn't overly difficult once you start to understand what you are doing but before that it is extremely confusing. Lua scripting will be implemented later which should be pretty cool. I can definitely see it making the keyboard even more impressive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a keyboard with mechanical switches in it. NOTE: THIS KEYBOARD DOES NOT HAVE A USB PASS THROUGH, EXTRA KEY CAPS, OR A KEY CAP REMOVER. YOU CAN CHANGE THEM LIKE ANY OTHER CHERRY MX SWITCH.

Happy Customer (1+ year) - LOVE VOLUME ROLLER!!!
Best keyboard I've ever bought. Love the mechanical (better built), researched a long time and debated about the macro key version of this. I definitely like the number pad, and unless I play WOW, or some assignable key needs (might be nice for macros in excel though now that I think about it - but this keyboard is more for play than work). Either way, I don't think it would be a bad decision, but you might save some room. And the number pad adds, but I like numbers so....The keys are noisy, but that's in the description. I got the cherry switches, not sure what the difference between all of them are exactly, which I researched as well, but until you play with them I guess it's hard for me to really know. It was a gamble. Not sure what this keyboard is, cherry/brown? both? or preference. I did however, buy separate O'rings to dampen some of the blow/clack if you will - I got the thicker option of 4 mm travel reduction. (Cherry MX Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners Blue 40A-R - 0.4mm Reduction), I should be getting them tonight. They were rather expensive, but we will see how they help out. Maybe I will add to this review if anyone is interested how they turned out. Just trying to reduce some noise for other people in the room, but personally, it doesn't bother me that much, and people that are used to type writers (dying breed i suppose) I would think this kind of makes you feel at home. The actual click of a keyboard instead of second guessing adds assurance and effortlessness that I more than appreciate. I haven't had many mechanical keyboards except maybe the very early computers we had growing up (was mechanical more of a standard then?), but not much to compare to, but as someone that appreciates design and hesitant in big life changing purchases like this - and it is - a keyboard is huge. I've had over 1,000,000 strokes on my little old laptop on just one thing I wrote, and keys get beaten on more than we know. Long story short, I love it. Options to change keys for the textured ones, to highlight gamers and such are just cool, even if you hate gaming (Everyone loves a computer card game, even people that say they hate video games/pc games). Love the light options - easy to figure out, different settings all built in easily into the keyboard, no saving to software or some extraneous process, very well designed feature. Light dim, bright, brighter, brightest, simple. Lock, which I think is a windows lock button for gamers - so it doesn't boot you out of a game when accidentally pressing the windows key. Indicator lights for num lock, caps lock, and another i'm not sure - maybe a data indicator (there are USBs in the back of the keyboard to plug things in, kind of nice if you need a quick access, I find my self using them periodically, but usually go straight to the source (motherboard) when doing USBs. Thicker cable that can be a plus and minus for some. I like it. Solid. Elegant. Two USB plug ins to power the usb ports in the back i suppose, does work with just one USB in case you are limited on USB slots (rare nowadays). My favorite features are right next to the indicators - the mute button - and volume roll rocker. This is what prompted me to write this review, just the love for the volume roller. WOW! I kind of was interested in it when first researching this keyboard - have had it over a year, still love it. I use the volume roller a lot. Music, skype, games, what? turn off the sound and walk away, easy mute access. AND THAT'S IT! Another thing that I love about it is that it's jammed packed with all my favorite features, but not so much that it's overwhelming and you only use 1/4 of what they give. It doesn't look like it came out of a space ship (a positive thing for me), simple, sleek, gaming orientating yet cool looking and functional. It does have a media control thing above the number pad as well. Don't use it that often, but its nice feature to have if you are doing a lot of media control I suppose. I just love the volume controls. Solid - well built. Doesn't seem to collect too much crud, I try to spray it out with electronic Air spray ever so often, and always wash the hands! However, some people don't understand that concept...(saving names). Above Average tech enthusiast and gadget admirer, there could be other keyboards just as good or better, personal preference? This one spoke to me though. And it is still doing so. I'l update the review with the addition of O-rings as well. This keyboard has been fine over a year without them, but just curious more than anything to see what they do. As a lover of typing as well, it is worth it for me to invest in a good set of keys, just like anything. And it's something I believe people over look when thinking about a keyboard, but to me it is the body of a computer. The mechanic. Mechanical keyboards my new favorite love. As for ergonomics - pretty standard. always lower the feet to have a flatter keyboard, I love when every keyboard at any public/work place always have the feet up. Don't think that is very ergonomic, but that is what I've been told. I've heard the ergo boards are kind of nice, but not sure I could get used to it. I prefer the straight shot. It would be interesting to feel/try this out in a more ergo style though. could be interesting. Happy TYPING!!!!!! Thank You -Tim

This is a nice weighty keyboard with a very good feel too it. The keys have just the right amount of travel and are not too noisy - at least for a keyboard with cherry switches. The metal base makes it feel solid and keeps it in place. I love the backlight as I tend to sit and type in the dark. I've taken off the palm rest as it was a dust and dirt magnet. Speaking of dirt, the included tool for removing the keys helps while cleaning as well - if you don't mind taking the keys off one by one every now and then. It does not come with a million different colour options for the lights or marcos for the keys but excels at what it's supposed to do.

Besides the Cherry MX Red keys and individual key lighting, the thing is like most about this keyboard is that its most EASY to clean and remove dust cuz the keys caps when removed allow for easy dusting.

I looked at a lot videos and researched Mechanical Keyboards. Everybody agrees that once you use a mechanical, you will feel the difference. I have to say after using this for a month now, I am very impressed with it. The joy of typing on this keyboard is amazing. I preferred the Cherry MX Brown because I wanted something between a Blue and a RED. Red is for gaming with no tactile feedback and blue has the most feedback and more sound. Brown is something in between with a slightly lower feedback and sound, but still responsive like the red. The media keys were also important for me so i could adjust volume easily while gaming or watching movies on my PC without having to use mouse or combination of keys on the keyboard. This is a great buy!!

Great keyboard, high quality in every single way. It is very satisfying to type, it is cherry red so key activation is much easier. I'm still trying to get used to typing since I'm a fast type and I end up pressing other keys on accident. My complaints are that the media keys are much lower than the normal keys. The WASD and Numbers 1-6 can be changed for textured keys. I find that the WASD key's contours make it more difficult to type. Perhaps during gaming situations it wouldn't matter. The textured number keys are missing the shift key prints. What I mean by this is on the actual key itself, only the number is printed. So on the 1 key, it only shows 1 instead of 1 and !. My complaints are quite small and this keyboard was completely worth it.
