Cut to length and use the soft, lighter coloured side against the plant stem, leave a little space for the stem to grow and stick both ends together. It holds firmly. So much easier than tying knots in string. It can be used for the following year with only the colour fading, and is detached and removed easily again unlike string. A brilliant product, more expensive than garden string but it can be reused and is simple to use.

Very easy to use and you can use it again and again year after year so it's value for money.

Solid, withstands the Scottish weather when tying plants to stakes. Can recommend. They come back off easily too.

Seems a good idea. You need more overlap for it to stick to itself than you'd expect from normal Velcro. Probably a case of learning from experience what its good for, and what its not effective doing ........
