These are serious quality casters. Dual lock is solid and zero wiggle. For and finish is excellent. Apron covers ball bearings so no dust would get in. The metal parts do have a color tint from heat treat, but that just goes to show high quality steal was used. Im returning only to find different size.

I've done a lot of shopping for casters lately and I've been most impressed by these Vima 4in locking casters. They're easily the best I've seen under $50 per caster. The locking and unlocking mechanism is the best I've seen and I haven't seen anything quite like their two-paddle design elsewhere. It has a very solid and easy action for locking and unlocking, something that's often painful with casters.The included accessories are also a nice touch. It's worth stating that the bolts these 4in casters come with are M8x25mm. I wish they'd said that somewhere on the listing so I could plan for it.When shopping for things like these, I've been making it a practice to slog through all the Chinese junk on places like Amazon looking for images that show a brand name on the device. That tends to indicate someone cares enough about the product to actually build a brand. I saw a several stamped with Vima, so I gave them a shot and they're definitely much better than the nameless ones I got.Comparing the Vimas to the nameless ones, the materials are slightly better, but most notably, the bearing alignment is dramatically superior. The Vimas spin smoothly and freely while all of the nameless casters have some misalignment, causing extra friction and a less smooth feel. The locking, as stated, is just the best.I'm currently using these for large material-handling carts in a factory setting and am already buying more for the rest of our carts.

I used these to replace the casters on my 500# smoker. I think they work very well. Hopefully they hold together a long time.

I am building a huge 10-foot long workbench with 4x4 legs and these Heavy Duty Caster Wheels with Brakes is the type I chose to use. I've bought and used several other types and these are my favorites. They were easy to mount (I used 4" x 4" squares of 3/4" plywood on the bottom of the legs), they glide like magic across the workshop floor, and the two-lever brake system is the best feature of all. I will buy these again as the need arises. Very highly recommended. Hope this helps...

Sturdy rolls great

This set of wheels/casters is exactly what I need for my project of building a generator card. They come in a sturdy box and are individually wrapped. Wrench and nuts and bolts are included, along with a pair of white gloves? They are in my opinion very well made. I got the 5-inch casters because I knew they would roll over cracks and joints in the driveway and sidewalks with ease and they do. The only downside to these casters in the long protrusion of the brake levers. Not a deal breaker for me. Just make sure you allow for the extra swivel area needed for the brake levers.

Nice and sturdy and excellent value for the price and quality.
