If you have been on the natural deodorant, journey, then you are familiar with the super strong smells, ineffectiveness, or how some deodorants just making your BO worse all together!I have been on the natural deodorant journey for a few years now. I have tried nearly every natural deodorant on the market. This is the first one that doesn’t smell too strong or mix with my body create this BO that is way worse than if I just want solo!I feel like every other natural deodorant developer was like “Let’s make the essential oils so strong that it gives them a rash! Surely no bad odor can get through that,” OR they just didn’t care that the product was ineffective.This product, the Fresh + Clean specifically smells great, but not overpowering and works better than anything I’ve tried.I’m telling you. Let me be your text dumbie, and just buy this one! ❤️❤️❤️Oh and don’t let the “charcoal” part freak you out. It doesn’t turn your armpits black or stain your clothing!

Like many of you, I used Dove, Secret, and/or Degree. However, after hearing warnings about the potential harm of aluminum salts, I felt compelled to make a change. I started searching for a more 'natural deodorant'—something cleaner—and that’s when I found Hello Deodorant.At first, it seemed great:- The scent was lovely (Charcoal Fresh and Clean)- It glided on smoothly.- For a while, it actually worked.But here’s the catch: deodorants only mask odor, while antiperspirants actually stop sweating.Before long, I found myself needing to reapply Hello deodorant constantly. Even then, it only covered the smell without addressing the sweat. My nice blouses and bras paid the price. The deodorant clung to the fabric, making it nearly impossible to wash out. I had to hand-wash my favorite bras multiple times just to remove the greasy, white residue, and my work shirts were left with embarrassing sweat stains.I tried everything to “detox” my pits:- Scrubs- Exfoliators- Even a benzoyl peroxide mask (which does help reduce sweating, to an extent)But nothing worked. The deodorant faded after just an hour—an hour!—even when I was simply sitting at my desk.As someone who works in marketing, I’m always aware of "greenwashing." Yet, I fell for it. I wanted to believe this "all-natural" product would work for me. But if you’re a sweater, deodorants just won’t cut it—it’s like spraying Febreze on a dumpster. So I’m back to my tried-and-true Dove, Secret, and/or Degree antipersperant brand.Little known fact, antiperspirants didn’t become mainstream until the mid-1900s; before that, people relied solely on "natural deodorants." Unfortunately, modern society has conditioned us to always smell and look good. BO and sweat stains are a big no-no in the real world.**Key Takeaway:**If it says Deodorant, it’s just perfume. If it says Antiperspirant, it’ll actually help with sweat. Pick and choose your battles.

I wanted to try this as the natural deodorant I love comes in a jar and I have to use my fingers to apply. This is just ok. I am a heavy sweater and unfortunately have BO as well (SO embarrassing!) I'm not sure I would buy this again.
