Well worth extra cost
Perfect size when I’m scaling up kefir production due to its width and convenient 1 piece plastic lid. Le Parfait is on par with other big brands like Ball and Kilner and Kerr. Generic Mason jars don’t make the grade for weight, durability and glass quality and lid fir. Worth extra cost

Great for large batch yogurt
I make homemade soy yogurt every few days. I liked my Weck jars but they were hard to hold and these have a screw lid. These work perfectly. Just barely fit in the Instant Pot, but do fit. Very durable.
