Good factual book, would have loved more photos, less illustration

Unfortunately when I received the book, whoever packaged it was not very careful. I pride myself on looking after my books but the cover to the one I received has a tear in the cover. Makes me sad and it will bother me every time I take the book out to look up a bug. I realize many will think I am over reacting, but I like pristine books.

Lovely book bought as new, but slightly damaged when delived. My 5 year old loves his insects, spiders etc and has spent a few hours each day looking at the different pictures whilst l read the facts to him.

It does look like kids book. I wanted a little bit more. It have a lot of things but not detailed as I wanted. Is for someone who just want to see what exist. That's all

This book is great for anyone interested in insects. The illustrations are beautiful.

The kid (7 yrs old) loves it! We're always referring to it when we find a bug in the garden, or in the house, or up his nose . . . (you get the gist!)
