If you asked me previously if cards felt different I’d have said you’re taking the mick. But they actually do feel different, especially before you break them in, I know I feel crazy saying it. Though my youngest has now taken them to work on her magic tricks, so I might get a new set if Santa thinks I’ve been good.

Excellent Plastic Coated Cards! 30 years of experience using this Bicycle decksI was looking for cards I could use for playing the conventional games and because of the shuffle I wanted paper cards instead of the 100% plastic cards.Most 100% plastic cards can only be riffle shuffled and I wanted cards to play with my family where I am the only one that knows how to shuffle like that, besides those cards slip to much when holding more than 4 or 5 cards.So, these cards are excellent in every way, in the feel as well as playing.I don't recommend the riffle shuffling because as normally paper cards do, they tend to fold but for overhand shuffle this cards are great, not like some paper cards I have that with some use they start tearing apart, because the plastic doesn't cover the side of the card, this coated plastic is very well applied covering the important side part, making the shuffling soft and precise, preventing the inevitable split of both sides of the lower quality cards.Of course after some time they tend to slightly curve in the middle from pressing with the thumbs when holding but you can make them take the normal form right away.My Grandfather had the same bicycle decks 30 years ago (that I remember), he brought when he was in the Navy and that was what made me buy this right away.After one intense afternoon playing with the same deck, I am 100% convinced that I made an excellent purchase.Now I have cards I can proudly use for playing with my family and friends!

I bought these to practise sleights of hand. The individual boxes have a gold border which I'd never seen before. But the cards look and feel like the real thing, so I'm sure they're genuine (knock-off bicycle cards are usually quite obvious). The cards are ideal for doing sleights and flourishes, and each pack lasts a long time before I need to open a new one. I'm especially pleased because Amazon have put the price up twice since I bought these.
