Great blenders for Prismacolor Pencils.
I have only used these with my Prismacolor Premier pencils and they work so well. The blenders will actually pick up the pigment you've laid down on the paper and move it around to help fill in the small white areas that are often left behind with wax pencils (be careful if you want to add more colour on top after you've used the blender pencil, though, because if you press too hard with it, it'll push not just pigment into the paper, but push down the tooth of the paper, making it harder for the paper to grap colour from your colouring pencils - if you want to add more colour, just don't press too hard with the blender pencil). These blenders can also help to smooth blending of colours that you've already laid down, thus removing any sharp lines between your colours, and they can also pull colours into other colours for an even softer blend, perhaps for making shadow areas. Also remember that because the blenders pick up pigment to move it around, you'll want to clean the tip on a scrap piece of paper when moving into new colour areas, unless of course you're looking to mix the colours. If you're looking to create a blend of dark down to light or white, you'll want start in the light area and work your way up to the dark or, if you do it the other way, make sure to keep cleaning the tip of the blender on a scrap piece of paper as you move down to the lighter areas.

Great blenders
I have two varieties of colourless blender pencils, these and another (more expensive) brand. These are by far my favourite of the two. They can really transform your coloured pencil art, especially when you want to create a smooth effect like skin. The way that the blender works is by picking up some of the pigment on the page and moving it around. It then fills the tooth of the paper more and smooths out any pencil streaks. You do still need to do your own blending with just the pencils first but then applying these smooths everything out and gives an excellent blend. You can easily go back over the top with more colour too which is useful as the blender will lighten the colour slightly in the darker areas. I usually re do the deepest shadows after blending. If you want to leave the lightest area of your blending white it takes a little practice to do this as the blender picks up the pigment and moves it a little so it is easy to cover the white area with colour. A bit of practice (and cleaning the blender regularly on scrap paper) helps to stop this from happening however. The main thing which makes me prefer these pencils over the others I have is that they do not leave the work too shiny. The effect is smoother but more satin rather than high shine.

This is one of my favorite coloring tools
This is one of my favorite coloring tools. The colorless blenders smooth out coloring pencils and mix together different shades and layers well. I use these all the time instead of using a white blender, since this colorless blender pencil doesn't alter the colors. They are a bit hard to sharpen however. I will still continue to buy them though, because they work so well.

Great pencil blender!
I use “prisma color” pencils in a lot of my artwork, either as the sole medium or in mixed media, so as I was looking for a pencil blender I thought I’d stick with the brand. I’m glad I did 😊 they blend really well, in transitioning colours and to smooth out the look of any grainy patches, I would only use these pencils on smaller areas as it would be quite time consuming on anything large, on big areas I would definitely recommend a solvent specifically for coloured pencils for any blending, but these are perfect for small or detailed areas. I will definitely purchase again, I highly recommend them. ✨

Really useful blending pencils
I only found out blending pencils were a 'thing' very recently. A friend gave me an adult colouring book and some Arteza coloured pencils as a gift to help me through a difficult time, and I did some colouring-in for the first time since I was a child. I've since bought myself some Polychromos pencils too. There's a lot more to colouring-in with coloured pencils than I used to think!! These Prismacolor blender pencils work great on both my Arteza (wax-based colour) and Polychromos (these are oil-based) pencils, and really improve the finish of my pictures. I use these blending pencils both for blending colours, and for smoothing a one-colour area as it gives a much more even finish. I think they're great, although a tad expensive for what they are. However, I wouldn't be without them. If you use coloured pencils, I recommend you get blender pencils as they will improve the finish of your work. I haven't tried any other brands of blender pencil yet as I am very happy with these.

Colorless blenders are an absolute must for mixing colors, blending them together and eliminating the pencil marks/ strokes. Using them makes a BIG difference 👍

Ottima matita, fa degnamente il suo lavoro. Prezzo non troppo contenuto ma alla fine è prismacolor, e la qualità si vede tutta. Ottimo prodotto, consigliata!

They work well not only with Prismacolor pencils but also with Derwent Drawing colored pencils and probably with any wax based colored pencils
