A BIT TOO SMALL (?)
The reason for a lower rating is that the barrels are just a wee bit small. They would jam when in several connectors.

Poor connection
The exterior housing is slightly too small to properly mate with a female cable or jack. It requires excessive force to connect. Both connectors in the pack had the same problem. I will be returning them.
