Lesaffre Saf-Levure Active Dried Yeast 2x125g

I get very good rise with this yeast and it’s easy to use. Also doesn’t contain emulsifiers 👍🏼

They they were packed in plastic inside the cardboard packaging, and are very nice smart tins, will look very nice in my kitchen cupboard. I can't wait to try them but Amazon cancelled my order of arrowroot so I won't be baking just yet.

Yeast not active unfortunately, even by following the instructions and adding luckwarm water to the yeast before incorporating it to the recipe, really disappointed as I know the brand is one of the best but I guess that serves me well buying it on Amazon

This has two dates on the bottom of the tin, one being C P 26/6/2023, which I assume is a production date, and the other E 26/6/25, which is presumably the expiry date, so it looks like it's already almost a year since manufacture. It is now 10/5/24. I have used this brand in the past and been pleased with it. Hopefully this batch will be as good.

Yeast without additives is getting difficult to find, this works fine for me, will buy again if they keep it pure👍
