Perfect
Had to replace my Nimble Laundry Lover (which I loved especially the subtle smell) as it seems to not be in production. Took a chance with this and I love. Smells lovely and gentle on Clothes. Also gentle on sensitive skin.

Softens yes, but this is expensive
Unfortunately it seems very typical nowadays for greener, healthier, planet friendly products to be way more expensive than the usual products and I don't understand the reasoning why the manufacturer's do this when surely pricing is a major influence in people's buying decisions and it almost seems that the manufacturers price them to only target those who strictly follow a greener way of life AND who can afford to spend nearly £8 on a 1litre bottle of softener (at time of review) and this is reduced lol. Normal price nearly £10.....!!!! No way ozay.Maybe if your family has really sensitive skin or absolutely needs something that has nothing in it that can cause any reaction, then you might HAVE to purchase this but the price I'm afraid prohibits even considering the purchase of this.I've got nothing against the product, it actually does a great job in softening fabric. Used on our towels which often seem to end up like cardboard I noticed a huge difference in the softness of the towels after washing and softening with this, the lavender smell however just wasn't there. You can smell it in its liquid form but not so much once your clothes are fresh out the machine. But then the subtlety of any aroma with a softener like this should be either really subtle or non existent tbh. This softener is targeted though at babies clothing and strong fragrances or un-natural residues should be avoided.I like the manufacturers process of this, being vegan based, free of parabens, gluten etc etc and coming in a recyclable bottle. As you'd expect the liquid is dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic and it's suitable for machines or hand washing. The manufacturer though really needs to rethink their label at the back.... The writing is sooooo small it's hard to read. They also need to redesign their dosing cap as the 5ml and 10ml lines are again hard to read and embossed inside out lol.The bottle arrived with a batch number printed on it, a production date and surprisingly an expiry date (didn't think a product like this would expire tbh, strange!) It could be the fact this uses natural oils though to scent it. That's my guess.Definitely does a good job at softening fabrics but the price is just too much in my opinion. Greener products really need to be cheaper or similar in price to the regular products so people can make better choices about their shopping that helps the environment without having to overpay for them.Great for babies, not so great on the pocket.

Fresh subtle fragrance
The first fabric softener I actually like. Since this is an eco softener, a lot of synthetic ingredients have been removed and this product isn't meant to leave a film on your clothes either. The fragrance from the bottle is very nice and fresh. There is lavender and patchouli oils in the ingredient list but if I had to blind guess I would have struggled since these oils are used in such low concentration it's very subtle. This isn't a bad thing.Upon using it in the wash, clothes came out feeling fine. Tge clothing felt soft but nothing groundbreaking or different to what I expected especially since the clothes were soft to begin with. My main take away was there was no film, just as promised! There also was almost no fragrance left on the clothing so the clothes smelt clean but nothing discernible like the lavender or patchouli. Overall I really like this fabric softener. It may make a bigger difference with some older clothes or it may help with fabric longevity over time through several months of use. I really like it and I want to continue using it for my whole family x

Special scent that you need to get over
It is excellent in terms of functionality. My kid’s clothes came out soft and fluffy. Only complaint is the unpleasant scent. Somehow it is like chemical (non-natural) that filled the whole room.

Softens fluffy blankets, bath mats and bedsheets No irritation on sensitive skin so far
Some of our household has skin conditions such as contact dermatitis, eczema and other fungal skin conditions so we have to be very diligent with our laundry process. We typically avoid fabric softener as it tends to trap smells, and promote build up with long term use. It can also negatively impact sweat wicking fabrics and how well organic fabrics like merino, cotton and bamboo breathes against skin. That being said our soft fluffy blankets, tea towels, bath mats and bed sheets were becoming stiffer and rougher against skin. Which is why we decided to give this a go. We pour a cap into a reusable liquid detergent pod and place directly into the machine. This keeps the aforementioned fabrics soft and hasn’t caused any irritation to skin. Please note we exclusively use non bio eco detergent sheets and nothing in the drawer of our washing machine as it tends to be breeding ground to mould and product build up.Occasionally we will do clarifying wash with only house hold vinegar and a homemade detergent to remove any potential product build up. Also deep cleaning the machine using products like dettol washing machine cleaner and water softener every 4-6 weeks. These combined efforts have helped reduce skin irritation and flare ups. I will more than likely repurchase.
