So simple, but so affective
I bought this for my then 2-week old baby and at 9 weeks he is still engaged with this mobile. It is such an incredibly simple design and very simply made, but it holds his attention in his carry cot when waking or trying to self-soothe during day-time naps. We always take it along too when out for lunch or on slightly longer car journeys as it can attach easily to the car seat handle. I would love to ask the company making these to please make one that moves automatically as my little one loves it, particularly when I spin it and he can see all the moving shapes and patterns. For the price I don't think you will find a nicer mobile for a newborn and young infant. Great!

Lovely first toy for baby
I love manhattan toys. The monochrome makes it attractive for younger babies (when they are little, looking at stuff is their 'playing'). And the different pictures give you a talking point. They are easy to handle as the baby gets older (cube and pyramid) and light enough for baby to pick up and doesn't hurt if they drop it on their head. Great later on too as the ball encourages crawling and the other shapes can be the start of building block. Very good value for money since their uses extend different stages for your baby.

Ideal book for young babies
Bought this as a first book for my 8 week old son. The book is sturdy hard cardboard, and good quality. The images are quite geometric in design and feature pictures such as a dog, car, house etc. These are mainly done in one or two colours per image, and there is also nice shiny silver used too, which is reflective and eye catching. The geometric shapes also give good talking points for each image. My baby loves the last 2 pages which feature a drawing of a baby's face on a silver background on one page, and then opposite is a mirror. He always smiles at the baby picture, so much so that I have purchased other Wimmer Ferguson items with the same graphic. I am a big fan of this book and wish I could find more of their products.

OK
The product is fine, it cones. Exactly as it shows in the picture and the quality seems good. It's very lightweight so easy to take out with you yet sturdy enough to throw in your bag without getting damaged. My only thibg is mt baby doesnt seem that interested init anymore, i bought it when she was 4 weeks old and she really liked it then but now she's nearly 8 weejs old ans seems bored of it if I'm honest. It may just be my baby though.

Best travel toy
This has proven to be one of the best baby toys we have. Great for newborns because of the black and white, can be clipped anywhere. We fold the buggy with it still attached, and it never gets crushed. When we took our baby travelling for six weeks (crazy I know), we hung it on planes and trains. It spins beautifully if there is a breeze.

Such a brilliant idea - the black and white images really settle the child, love this new clip on version
The theory behind this is that young babies are stimulated, but not over-stimulated by black and white images. This is a clip on mobile which can be put on car seat or pram or even added to another toy - bouncy chair or baby gym. The images help the baby to zone out to the background noise and allow them to focus on that image. We had a mobile of this and a display chart thing in the car. Both were utterly amazing, we found our small baby quickly could become very over-stimulated and then couldn't settle to sleep as she had information overload, she then cried so much she got windy and it was a horrible vicious circle. The black and white images really really helped her to settle. I have bought this as a gift for someone. I hope by giving it I am not only giving a useful item, but also giving the gift of more sleep for the parents!!!

Great toys, can even be used from birth!
Our baby loves these! I hung a couple of the side of her crib during the day from when she was a newborn to help with her visual development (I would also hang one in her pram for when we were out), so she had something to focus on other than the bars as they can't see very far. She showed proper interest in them around 1 month, and from then on she gradually started interacting and playing with them more and more. They are her favourite hanging toys, and at 5 months she has discovered she can pull on the bee to make it vibrate. They are hard-wearing as she constantly yanks on them, they get pulled along the arches of the playmat, and she even uses them as leverage to pull the arch down to her (she's discovered the wire inside the cloth arch that she likes to chomp on as she's teething)! They have really helped with our baby's visual, motor, and hand-eye coordination development. I will be buying these for our friends that are having babies.

Mind Shapes
Fabulous product - has grown with our little one from birth to 8 months (and I've no doubt beyond). Have also bought for all family and friends babies too - a winner every time. They are really engaging and still entertain my little one - her favourite is playing ball with the sphere, looking at 'mr fox' on the pyramid and the face on the cube. Fantastic design, extremely well thought out with the mix of colours, textures and patterns - a real winner.
